Today, the Japanese mobile phone manufacturer finally launched this powerful handset in India. Sony Xperia Z is a water and dust resistant smartphone with a durable glass display. This handset runs on the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) Operating System. It comes with an unique Battery Stamina Mode which improves the standby time by four times by automatically shutting down battery-draining apps whenever the screen is off.

Sony Xperia Z comes with a price-tag of Rs.38,990 (approx. $710) in India. This handset will go on sale from March 12, 2013. Vodafone subscribers will get 8 GB of free 3G data for 2 month with this handset. The manufacturer also offers ‘Sony Jive Music’ which allows you to download and stream music from the Sony Music catalog for 6 months.
