Samsung Unveils The Galaxy M Style Smartphone In South Korea

Yesterday, Samsung announced the entry level Galaxy Ace Plus smartphone. Now, Samsung unveiled another device in its popular Galaxy range of smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy M Style. This handset runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System. The Samsung Galaxy M Style will be first available in South Korea and it is expected to be showcased next week at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas. All the three South Korean carriers – SK Telekom, Korea Telekom and LG U+ will offer this device in the coming weeks.

Samsung Galaxy M Style features a 4 inch Super AMOLED display, sporting a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 1 GHz single-core processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System, TouchWiz user interface, 3 megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G connectivity and much more.

Other features include a 3.5 mm headset jack, stereo FM Radio with RDS, 4 GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, DMB TV tuner, Music Hub, Social Hub, Samsung Kies 2.0, A-GPS, Samsung Apps, Android Market and a 1650 mAh battery.

This handset measures 122.5 x 63 x 9.9 mm and weighs just 123 g. The Samsung Galaxy M Style will be available in 3 vibrant colors – Platinum Silver, Blue Black and Lavender Pink. This handset comes with a price-tag of 500,000 won (approx. $440) in South Korea. Samsung has not yet announced the availability of this smartphones in other markets. Stay tuned for more updates!
