Apple just sent out invites to the iPad 3 event and it has definitely caught excitement amongst Apple fans and the others who are looking forward to get their hands on the iPad 3 as well.
iPad 3 will most likely have a better display, faster processor along with 4G LTE. However, there are still several things which are unknown about the device. Considering, how secretive Apple usually are, you probably won’t get to know the finer details of the iPad 3 until it is unveiled at the Press conference on March 7th.
The event will be held at 10AM PST on March 7th, 2012 at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco where most of Apple’s events take place. Apple has historically streamed only one of their events online. We hope that they will also stream this event online as well.
Here are the sites which will be live blogging the event. You can catch up on all the action, news and pictures as it happens.
Users might be able to watch the live-stream from here. An audio stream of the event might also be available here, when the event starts. We will update this post when more information and live streams become available.
Apple has confirmed an iPad 2 event for March 2, 2011. The event is highly anticipated and will be followed by millions of users. Apple will be unveiling the iPad 2 tablet which is an upgrade to the iPad.
Though there have been several new tablets launched this year including the Motorola XOOM and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, the iPad 2 will definitely be something magical, as Steve Jobs always says. You are better off holding on buying any tablet till at-least March or April when many of the tablets will be coming out.
Last time Apple had streamed an event live online, hopefully they will also stream the event live this time too. You can try and watch the live videos online at http://www.apple.com/apple-events/.
The iPad 2 event will start at 10AM Pacific Time or 1PM Eastern Time on March 2. You can visit this link to see the local timings in your country/location.
Everyone’s eyes and ears will be tuned on to which company Nokia will be partnering with to bring some good phones to their lineup. According to the impending rumors Nokia will partner with Microsoft and come out with Windows Phone 7, however, nothing is certain yet and this will be a huge setback for Meego, the OS which never was and never came to be.
Earlier last month, Manan had said that Nokia should basically go with either WP7 or Android as the software for their high end phones and it looks like there is no way out for them but to do it. I have personally used the Nokia N8 and the Nokia E7 and find that it has good hardware but it lacks good software. It definitely makes sense for Nokia to let go of Symbian or stop making smartphones with it as it hurts them more than it is good for them.
This event is extremely important for Nokia as the target audience are the investors and Nokia certainly cannot afford to disappoint them as they have disappointed their loyal users.
Hopefully, a lot of questions will be answered tomorrow at the Nokia Capital Market’s Day. We are all waiting with bated breath for what Elop will say tomorrow. Are you?
The presentation starts at 10AM London Time / 5AM EST. If you are interested in watching the Nokia Capital Markets Day online, you can head over to this link and click on the Webcast link or visit the webcast page directly, you will need to register before you can view the webcast.
If you are enjoying the CES 2011, there might be quite a lot of more good things coming your way. In a few hours time Skype will be holding their press conference at CES 2011.
The conference will be held at 10:30AM PST and will be an hour long. After the introduction of video calling for iPhone, it is highly anticipated that Skype will announce video calling for Android based devices too. We are all holding our breaths on that.
Samsung will be taking stage at the CES shortly and we can expect some good surprises from them. Samsung is supposedly going to launch a new range of cameras, TVs and tablets among other things.
If you are a Samsung fan, you should be catching up on their CES press conference starting at 2PM PST (check local timings). You can see a host of new devices being launched by Samsung including 3D TVs and Tablets.
Sony is one of the most interesting companies at CES 2011. Several new and exciting products might be revealed by them this year. Some of them include the Sony “Xperia Play” which could add in support for gaming and tie-in with the PS3, just like Windows Phone 7 does with Xbox live.
It could also be Sony’s new Xperia successor Anzu X12 which have been leaked several times. We could also see unveiling of Sony TVs and news related to PS3, but we’ll hold on our horses for now.
Apple has sent out press invites to some high profile sites for their new "Back to the Mac" event to be held on October 20, 2010.
The invite has a Lion around the Apple logo and would discuss the upcoming Mac OS X 10.7. It is not known yet what the OS might be called, but from the looks of it, it would be named as Mac OS X Lion.
Previous Mac versions have been called Snow Leopard, Leopard, Tiger, Panther, Jaguar, Puma, Cheetah and Kodiak. So will Apple be unleashing the Lion out of the bag on the coming Wednesday? Only time will tell. Keep tuned in for regular updates from us.
Google today is holding a press conference at the Museum of Modern Arts (MoMA) in San Francisco. The conference is about new a faster search experience that will be unleashed by them.
Google had also unveiled an animated interactive Google Doodle yesterday known as Google Balls/Google Dots which was pretty mysterious as unlike other Google Doodle’s this one did not have a link or did not celebrate any particular event. This has led many people to suggest that it was a part of Google’s conference to be held today.
Google usually broadcasts all their conference live on YouTube. You can watch the Google search press conference today on YouTube. According to Search Engine Land, there may be several new introductions to Google Search which include 30 results per page among other things.
It would be interesting to see if Google does add the Search as you type feature which was spotted earlier by a user and AJAX results so that it becomes a better experience to search.

This is the 4th big event Apple is holding this year where they either announced a new device in the form of the iPad, iPhone 4 or free bumpers for iPhone 4 users. And come September 1st, 2010 Apple will be holding a special music press event. The music or rock and roll event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts Theatre in San Francisco at 10 AM Pacific time.
Thanks to the secretive nature of Apple, it is not really clear what will be unveiled or said at this September 1 event, however, it is rumored that Apple will unveil new features in iTunes and also unleash the next-generation Apple TV dubbed iTV. Apple may also unveil the new iPod Touch 4G which is rumored that the iPod Touch 4G may have a 5MP camera and support FaceTime.
Most of the Apple events do not allow live streaming so it almost impossible to know what’s really going on without you being there. However, there are several press people who will be there for the event and update people about it live as the event unfolds.
