New MeeGo UI Screenshots Leak On The Internet

Nokia is expected to announce its MeeGo running handsets at the upcoming Nokia Event on September 15. The first MeeGo handset to be released by the Finnish company is expected to be the Nokia N9. In all probability,   the N9 will hit the retail market in October or November month of this year.New-MeeGo-UI-Screenshots-Emerge Now few screenshots of the MeeGo UI have leaked on the Internet and they look pretty impressive.

From the leaked screenshots, the UI of the MeeGo OS looks polished to me. It also looks like MeeGo will offer a lot of eye candy with animations and Spaces’ like effect. Though on a personal note, I did not like the battery and the network bar icons present in the status bar at the extreme left.

From the screenshots it is clearly evident that the Task manager of the MeeGo OS will show all the open applications in thumbnails which resemble the Spacesfeature of Mac OS X.
