Another interesting feature about Synble is that you can get <strong>forward your incoming SMS messages </strong>from your phone to your Google Talk account.</p><p>This comes in pretty handy, when you do not want to open up the phone and read the message or if the phone is at a location that is not near you. In addition to that you can also <strong>send free text messages</strong> to your friends using Synble.</p><p>If you are a <a title="Articles Tagged Twitter on Techie Buzz" href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/twitter" rel="tag">Twitter</a> user (follow <a title="Follow Keith Dsouza on Twitter" href="http://twitter.com/keithdsouza">@keithdsouza</a>) you can setup Synble to receive your replies and direct messages from Twitter to your phone.</p><h3>Synble Features</h3><ul><li>Access to your text messages, calls and contacts from your PC, Mac, iPod or any other phone.</li><li>Send free text messages to your friends. And yes, it is free.</li><li>Your text messages are instantly forwarded to Google Talk.</li><li>Receive replies and direct messages from Twitter to your phone.</li><li>RSS feeds as a text messages, text messages as a RSS feed.</li></ul><p>However before you can start using this application let us tell you that it does not support using a Wifi connection on your phone and forces you to use the data plan from your phone company, this may be ok with users with unlimited data plans, however could prove a dampener to other users.</p><p>We don&#8217;t really see any reason why they should be doing that, but hope that the developers allow users to select a Wifi connection instead of using the phone company data plan.</p><p>If you use a Nokia Smartphone we highly recommend you to give this useful application a try.</p><p><a href="http://www.synble.com/"><strong>Download Synble</strong></a></p><p></p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/133811386705y10duklhnfa08gfvvescumbag1338113867h2lwnvw5xdjasjjrykaw1338113867.god" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/free-sync-backup-sms-tool-nokia-smartphones.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Synble: A Backup, Sync and Free SMS Tool For Nokia Smartphones http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FcyTKs via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/free-sync-backup-sms-tool-nokia-smartphones.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/free-sync-backup-sms-tool-nokia-smartphones.html&title=Synble: A Backup, Sync and Free SMS Tool For Nokia Smartphones" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/free-sync-backup-sms-tool-nokia-smartphones.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/free-sync-backup-sms-tool-nokia-smartphones.html&title=Synble: A Backup, Sync and Free SMS Tool For Nokia Smartphones" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/free-sync-backup-sms-tool-nokia-smartphones.html&title=Synble: A Backup, Sync and Free SMS Tool For Nokia Smartphones" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/backup" rel="tag">Backup</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/nokia" rel="tag">Nokia</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/nokia-n95" rel="tag">Nokia N95</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/synchronize" rel="tag">Synchronize</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/free-sync-backup-sms-tool-nokia-smartphones.html" title="Synble: A Backup, Sync and Free SMS Tool For Nokia Smartphones">Synble: A Backup, Sync and Free SMS Tool For Nokia Smartphones</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Keith Dsouza on Thursday 30th April 2009 06:19:32 PM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/mobile-news" title="View all posts in Mobile News" rel="category tag">Mobile News</a>. The software installation and went fine and the software even ran to completion, however there is when the problem started.</p><p>The software in question just hung at the completion screen, hanging the entire phone in the process, I had to hard reset the phone (by removing the battery) to get it to work again.</p><p> <span id="more-3416"></span><p>However my problems did not end there and the Nokia N95 phone kept on rebooting as soon as it showed me the welcome screen, the only way to shut it down, was to hard reset it again. This reboot however went on continuously even though I hard reset it several times and tried several others ways like taking off the SIM card, adding a new SIM card and so on.</p><p>The only way I believed I could get the phone to start working was to do a factory reset, however since I could not login into the phone, I could not use the conventional method to reset the phone.</p><p>Luckily for me, I found a way to factory reset the phone while rebooting it and that saved the day for me, just decided to write a post about it so that as finding the information was literally very hard for me itself.</p><h3>Steps to Factory Reset Nokia N95 or Other Smartphones While Rebooting</h3><p><strong>Step 1:</strong> Before you reboot the phone, press the dial key (green key), the number 3 button and * button all at once. It is <strong><em>important to press all the 3 keys simultaneously</em></strong> before you reboot the phone.</p><p><strong>Step 2:</strong> Reboot your phone.</p><p><strong>Step 3:</strong> If you do not see the option to enter your country or other factory reset screens, repeat steps 1 and 2.</p><p>Please remember that you will lose the information stored on your phone memory, when you factory reset your phone. To my joy, I came across a really handy <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/collections/must-have-applications-for-nokia-n95-and-other-nokia-smartphones-part-i.html">Nokia application</a> called Mobbler which allows users to play Last.fm radio stations on Nokia S60 3rd edition based phones.</p><p> <span id="more-3013"></span><p align="center"><img style="display: inline" title="mobbler-last-fm-radio-player" border="0" alt="mobbler-last-fm-radio-player" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/stories/2008/10/mobblerlastfmradioplayer.jpg" width="180" height="240" /> <img style="display: inline" title="mobbler-last-fm-radio-player-start-new-channel" border="0" alt="mobbler-last-fm-radio-player-start-new-channel" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/stories/2008/10/mobblerlastfmradioplayerstartnewchannel.jpg" width="180" height="240" /></p><p>Mobbler, Mobile Scrobbler, is a last.fm radio player and scrobbler for Nokia S60 3rd edition smartphones. It allows you to listen to your last.fm radio stations and to scrobble tracks played using the Nokia S60 Music Player. Music player scrobbling can be done both whilst you listen, or queued offline to be submitted later.</p><p>Once you download and install Mobbler, you will have to provide your last.fm username and password, before you can create new radio stations and start listening to music. Just like the online player you can easily favorite a song, ban it from playing again, search for the song on Amazon or skip and play the next track.</p><p><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto" title="mobbler-track-options" border="0" alt="mobbler-track-options" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/stories/2008/10/mobblertrackoptions.jpg" width="320" height="240" /></p><p>The quality of the music streaming is pretty good even both on a WiFi network and even when I used the application on a 3G connection. Overall a must have for music lovers who love last.fm and would like to listen to music on the go.</p><p><a href="http://code.google.com/p/mobbler/"><strong>Download Mobbler Last.fm Radio Player for Nokia Smartphones [S60 3rd Edition]</strong></a></p><p><em>Image Credit: Nokia Image via Flickr feed for </em><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/shch_andrey/1478066951/"><em>shch_andrey</em></a></p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/1338113867svpu7lj70991mun76stmscumbag1338113867y6svpbz5j23uwt96lzg41338113867.btch" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/last-fm-radio-player-for-nokia-s60-3rd-edition-smartphones.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Last.fm Radio Player for Nokia Smartphones [S60 3rd Edition] http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FXkiqj via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/last-fm-radio-player-for-nokia-s60-3rd-edition-smartphones.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/last-fm-radio-player-for-nokia-s60-3rd-edition-smartphones.html&title=Last.fm Radio Player for Nokia Smartphones [S60 3rd Edition]" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/last-fm-radio-player-for-nokia-s60-3rd-edition-smartphones.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/last-fm-radio-player-for-nokia-s60-3rd-edition-smartphones.html&title=Last.fm Radio Player for Nokia Smartphones [S60 3rd Edition]" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/last-fm-radio-player-for-nokia-s60-3rd-edition-smartphones.html&title=Last.fm Radio Player for Nokia Smartphones [S60 3rd Edition]" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/lastfm" rel="tag">Last.fm</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/nokia" rel="tag">Nokia</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/nokia-n95" rel="tag">Nokia N95</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/symbian" rel="tag">Symbian</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/last-fm-radio-player-for-nokia-s60-3rd-edition-smartphones.html" title="Last.fm Radio Player for Nokia Smartphones [S60 3rd Edition]">Last.fm Radio Player for Nokia Smartphones [S60 3rd Edition]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Keith Dsouza on Wednesday 29th October 2008 12:21:00 AM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/mobile-news" title="View all posts in Mobile News" rel="category tag">Mobile News</a>. Installing a unsigned application on a S60 device is next to impossible. <a href="https://www.symbiansigned.com/app/page" rel="nofollow">SymbianSigned.com</a> did make the process of self signing application easier, but recently they have changed their requirements for signing applications, asking users to provide them with a publisher ID which is quite difficult to get your hands on.</p><p><img title="nokia-n95-snapshot" height="222" alt="nokia-n95-snapshot" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/stories/2008/08/nokian95snapshot.jpg" width="154" border="0" /> <img title="nokia-n95-8gb.128648" height="201" alt="nokia-n95-8gb.128648" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/stories/2008/08/nokian958gb128648.jpg" width="239" border="0" /></p><p>There is a software though that will make signing unsigned applications a piece of cake.</p><p> <span id="more-1916"></span><p>GenialSiS is a desktop tool that will allow you to easily self-sign unsigned applications that are supported by SymbianSigned.com using Open Sign. All you require is the phone IMIE number and the unsigned application, here is a step by step tutorial for signing unsigned Symbian S60 app with GenialSiS.</p><p>GenialSiS runs out of the box, so you do not need to install it, download the file at the end of the post and unzip it to a folder.</p><p><strong>Step 1: Find your Phone IMEI number</strong> To do that type in *#06# in your phone and press Dial key, write down the number you see someplace, we will be using it in next steps.</p><p><strong>Step 2: Fill in Information into GenialSiS</strong> &#8211; Open GenialSiS and go to the open signed tab, add a email address (this will be where confirmation emails are sent) and your IMEI number, once you have done that, click on the Open button and browse and include the unsigned application.</p><p><img title="genialsis-fill-unsigned-s60-app-details" height="173" alt="genialsis-fill-unsigned-s60-app-details" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/stories/2008/08/genialsisfillunsigneds60appdetails.png" width="303" border="0" /></p><p>The application allows to sign more than one application at a time, but we suggest you sign only one application at a time.</p><p><strong>Step 3: Sign the Application</strong> After you have selected the unsigned application, and entered the email and IMEI, click on the Sign button. After you have clicked the button, GenialSiS will load the Open Signed page within the application and enter the details for you, you will have to confirm the captcha image before the application is submitted for signing to Symbian Signed.</p><p><img title="genialsis-enter-captcha-for-signing-application" height="158" alt="genialsis-enter-captcha-for-signing-application" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/stories/2008/08/genialsisentercaptchaforsigningapplication.png" width="240" border="0" /></p><p><strong>Step 4: Confirmation of Submissions </strong>Once you have entered the captcha code, wait for a few seconds, if everything goes ok, you should see a confirmation message from Symbian Signed, telling you about a email that was sent to you to confirm the signing process.</p><p><img title="genialsis-symbian-signed-confirmation" height="167" alt="genialsis-symbian-signed-confirmation" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/stories/2008/08/genialsissymbiansignedconfirmation.png" width="324" border="0" /></p><p><strong>Note:</strong> You may see errors instead of a confirmation, if the application you tried to sign has errors or is not supported by Symbian Signed.</p><p><strong>Step 5: Click on the Confirmation link in the Email</strong> Login to the email you had provided while signing and check for a email sent by Symbian Signed, open up the email and click on the confirmation link, you should see a message that the application will be processed shortly.</p><p><strong>Step 6: Wait for the second email from Symbian Signed</strong> Once the application has been signed, Symbian signed will send you another email, open that email and click on the link provided to download the signed application.</p><p><strong>Step 7: Install and Enjoy</strong> Now that you have a signed application the S60 device will not complain about certificate errors and allow you to install the application.</p><p>We were able to self-sign and install the following application on our Nokia N95 smartphone using this trick: LandscapePro, RockNScroll, ShakeMe, FlipSilent, ShakeLock, Autolock, Calsync, rotateMe and FreeCallSprite.</p><p><a href="http://rapidshare.com/files/139387707/genialsis_sign_symbian_s60_app_techie-buzz.com.zip"><strong>Download GenialSiS Symbian S60 Application Signer</strong></a></p><div class="wlWriterSmartContent" id="scid:0767317B-992E-4b12-91E0-4F059A8CECA8:1b1d0c18-61bf-4cf4-8e7e-acafd7b1cdf2" style="padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; float: none; padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-top: 0px">Technorati Tags: <a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Nokia+N95" rel="tag">Nokia N95</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/Symbian+S60" rel="tag">Symbian S60</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/sign+Symbian+apps" rel="tag">sign Symbian apps</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/sign+symbian+S60+apps" rel="tag">sign symbian S60 apps</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/genialsis" rel="tag">genialsis</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/unsigned+nokia+app" rel="tag">unsigned nokia app</a>,<a href="http://technorati.com/tags/sign+nokia+apps" rel="tag">sign nokia apps</a></div> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/1338113867w8mln6ps24xv97gw8mfuscumbag133811386752muh1d4be3ijfrbl3e1338113867.god" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tips-and-tricks/how-to-sign-a-unsigned-symbian-s60-applications-nokia-smartphones.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=How to Sign Unsigned Symbian S60 Applications?
