Nokia recently launched the “Gold Edition” of the Nokia C3-01 entry level touchscreen phone. The are no major changes in the specs of the device, except the fact that, the Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition runs on the powerful 1 GHz processor.

Nokia C3-01 has received a new firmware update numbered 06.00. The new firmware update comes with an amazing “Swipe To Unlock” feature and general performance improvements.

Nokia recently launched the entry-level C3-01 and Nokia X3-01 in India. Both the handsets comes with a touchscreen display as well as physical keypad.

Nokia announced Nokia C3-01 and X3-02 back in third quarter of 2010. Both the devices C3-01 and X3-02 are Touch and Type and were promised to be launched in India by first quarter of 2011.

Back in September, Nokia announced its S40 based entry level phone, the Nokia C3-01 Touch And Type. This handset is currently available on the airwaves of Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile in the UK.
