Nokia Unveils The X1-01 Dual SIM Phone

Nokia recently announced the X1-01 Dual-SIM phone. This entry-level phone comes with an amazing battery which offers up to 42 days of stand-by time, up to 13 hours of talk-time and up to 36 hours of music playback. Nokia X1-01 will be available in 4 different colors – Red, Dark Grey, Ocean Blue and Orange. The Nokia X1-01 will ship this quarter in India, China, South-East Asia/Pacific region, Middle East and Africa, Eurasia and Brazil. This handset comes with a price tag of €34 (approx. Rs.2,200).

HTC Desire Z Officially Launched In India For Rs.25,590

Back in September, HTC announced the Desire Z smartphone. This handset currently runs on the old Android 2.2 (FroYo) operating system, but it will be upgraded to the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS during Q2 of 2011. Flipkart, a popular online retailer is already selling this handset in India from January, but HTC today officially launched this handset in India.

LG Announces P520 Dual SIM Touchscreen Phone

LG recently launched a new dual SIM, entry level touchscreen phone, the LG P520. It features a 2 megapixel camera, 4 GB expandable memory, 1500 mAh battery and so on. There is nothing special in this phone, except the dual SIM capabilities.

LG P520 comes with a 2.8 inch TFT resistive touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels resolution, Dual SIM, GPRS/EDGE, microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera, stereo FM radio with RDS, music player, 15 MB internal memory, microSD Card slot, 4 GB expandable memory, up to 400 hours stand-by time, up to 9 hours talk-time, 1500 mAh battery and more.

Sadly, this phone does not have 3G capabilities. The price of this phone is not announced yet, but it is expected to be available for less than $300. LG P520 is currently available only in Russia and the device is expected to be available in other European countries from next month.

Android Powered Motorola Citrus Coming To Verizon Tomorrow

Verizon Wireless recently announced the availability of the entry-level Motorola Citrus smartphone. Motorola Citrus is powered by Android 2.1 Operating System and it allows you to access more than 100,000 apps from the Android Market. This handset is made from 25 percent post-consumer recycled plastic, certified CarbonFree and it is PVC and BFR free.

Motorola Citrus features a 3 inch touchscreen display, 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, on-screen QWERTY keyboard, Swype keyboard, 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, 3G Connectivity, Motoblur, Backtrack, Full HTML Web browser, preloaded with Bing Search and Bing Maps, quick access to Web apps and services such as Facebook, Gmail, Google Talk, YouTube and much more.

The packaging of this handset is made from 80 percent post-consumer recycled paper and the user manual is made using 100 percent recycled paper and soy-based ink. Motorola Citrus will be available from tomorrow for $49.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Nokia Unveils C5-03 Touchscreen Phone

Nokia today launched the latest budget touchscreen phone, the Nokia C5-03. This handset runs on the outdated Symbian S60v5 Operating System. It comes with a 3.2 inch touch display, Wi-Fi connectivity, 5 megapixel camera and more. The Nokia C5-03 allows you to set-up your email easily through the Nokia messaging service.

LG Announces Windows Phone 7 Powered Optimus 7

LG Electronics today announced the first Windows Phone 7 powered smartphone, the LG Optimus 7. This handset comes with the Play-To feature which allow DLNA based multimedia-sharing. This feature allows users to access their multimedia including pictures, video and music via any DLNA compatible device.

Samsung Announces Samsung Champ Hello Kitty Edition

Samsung Taiwan recently announced a special edition of Samsung’s popular entry level touchscreen phone, the Samsung Champ C3300. The new Hello Kitty edition of Samsung Champ comes in a color combination of white and pink with the cute Hello Kitty logo. This handset is targeted for youth class, specially children in Taiwan.

Samsung Champ Hello Kitty edition features a 2.4 inch QVGA touchscreen display, TouchWiz Lite UI, 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, audio and video player, dual speakers with 3D sound effects, FM radio with integrated antenna, MicroSD card slot, 30 MB internal memory, 8GB expandable memory, 12 hours of talk-time and 600 hours of standby time.

Motorola recently unveiled a new Android powered device, the Motorola SPICE. It has a capacitive touchscreen display as well as full QWERTY keyboard. This handset looks quite similar to RIM’s flagship product, the BlackBerry Torch 9800. Motorola SPICE comes with a large capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch support and pinch-to-zoom, along with BACTRACK for one-handed use.

Virgin Mobile Offers Samsung Intercept For $249.99
