LG recently unveiled two new entry level phones, A155 and A120. Both the handsets comes with basic features such as speakerphone, Music player, Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM), FM Radio and so on.

The new LG B is an Android smartphone which is slimmer than the iPhone 4 and the Galaxy S and has a better display than the two. It will be launched at CES 2011.

LG has unveiled its next generation high-end Android phone – the Optimus 2x. The LG Optimus 2x is the first Android handset to sport an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. Other key specifications of the handset include a 4-inch WVGA (800×480) screen, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory along with a microSD card slot.

The LG Optimus One has sold 2 million units just 65 days after its launch. It is one of the cheapest Android 2.2 phones and will also receive the Android 2.3 upgrade.

A couple of days ago, LG said that the LG Optimus One handset won’t be getting the Android 2.3 update because the minimum requirements to run Gingerbread is a 1GHz processor. However, this piece of news was shot down by Android team’s Dan Morrill. He said that the hardware requirement for Android 2.3 is very similar to Android 2.2 a.k.a Froyo.

Verizon Wireless has recently released a minor software update for LG Ally. The latest version is numbered VS740ZVC and it comes with numerous enhancements and improvements.

The much awaited LG Optimus U will be finally available to the US Cellular customers from December 13. LG Optimus U is the US Cellular’s own version of the popular LG Optimus One.

LG has announced S310, a new entry level candybar phone in Russia. This handset has support for popular social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Orkut and so on.
