Looks like Verizon is finally getting their share of the Apple pie. The Street is reporting that the highly anticipated Apple Tablet aka iTablet, which will be unveiled at the Apple Event this month will be sold subsidized on the Verizon Wireless network and not on the AT&T network.

Apple has just confirmed the rumored January 27th event, sending out invitation emails to journalists and media persons.

It seems that Apple will be launching a touchscreen based 22″ iMac this year. The news has not been confirmed from Apple right now though. Continue reading this article to find out more.

The folks at pocket-mint.com had a conversation with Apple’s design manufacture and they seem to indicate that Apple won’t be using the hugely popular netbook processor – Intel Atom to power their upcoming touchscreen based tablet device “iSlate”. Whether this is just a rumor or the news hold some truth, will only be found out on 26th Jan at the “Big” Apple event to be held in San Fransisco.

Apple’s rumored tablet is expected to be released in March and sell for a $1000 each.

Acording to reports, Apple is planning a major media event later this month. The event will be held on 27th January, 2007 in Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Check out the leaked specifications for iSlate, the tablet which is being manufactured by Apple. iSlate may have a 2.26 Ghz Inter Core 2 Duo processor with 2GB RAM expandable to 8GB. iSlate will also having a built in iSight camera and 120GB SATA HDD.

Apple has not yet even officially announced or confirmed the existence of the “iSlate”, and its competitors banking on the rumors have started making tablet touchscreen devices. Many Mobiles manufacturer’s and Computer manufacturer must be waiting to see the response of the public when Apple officially announces the “iSlate”.

Fox News just confirmed from an Apple spokesperson about a “big” Apple event going to be held in San Francisco on 26th Jan. Nothing at this point is official, but my guess is Apple will be announcing about the Apple iSlate/Tablet in this event, about which we have been hearing a lot since the past few weeks

Apple plans to sell 10 million units of the Apple “iSlate” Tablet. However, it will definitely have good competition to achieve those numbers. A demo of the iSlate by Steve Jobs will definitely clear doubts about those numbers.

2009 has been a year of mobile devices, however, come 2010, you will see more Internet tablets coming out. We take a look at some of the Internet tablets which will hit the streets in 2010.

Apple Tablet will use hardened 10 inch glass panels supplied by Innolux. It is expected to be announced in January and become available in stores by March or April.

Domain name registration records and trademark filings appear to indicate that Apple is going to name the Apple Tablet as iSlate.
