I bought it to use as a watch (aka: iWatch). Just days after the 6th generation iPod nano was announced, many companies started to realize that it would make a perfect watch. <a href="http://lunatik.com/lunatik-black">LunaTik </a>is a watchband for your iPod nano. It is probably the best one I have seen to date. The LunaTik comes in a simple, but very well designed packaging showing the product on the front and a larger view of it on the back. Inside LunaTik&#8217;s box, you will find two Allen wrenches for installation of the iPod nano.</p><p>The LunaTik&#8217;s band is very thick and is made out of high quality silicone with plenty of adjustment holes to allow a precise fit. The finish of the hinge pins and buckle is stainless steel with a brushed finish, which makes it look and feel really nice. LunaTik&#8217;s body is made out of aluminum with a matte finish. The Nano is installed inside it by using the included Allen wrenches to take the case apart and slide the iPod nano inside. Installation was simple and the fit is secure. In addition, the LunaTik allows the dock connector and headphone jack to be positioned either to the right of left. In the end, the result is an elegant looking iWatch. The only con with the LunaTik is that it isn&#8217;t easy to remove your iPod nano from the case if needed. This is because Allen wrenches are needed to unscrew the screws, which takes a while.</p><p><img class="aligncenter" title="iWatch" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/cache2/parth/iwatch.png" alt="iWatch" width="620" height="465" /></p><p>At first, I thought that wearing an iPod nano on my wrist would be an impractical idea, but in use my opinion quickly changed. My iWatch&#8217;sbattery lasted for 18 days, which is pretty amazing. The combination of a touchscreen iPod with a wristband is genius and has a futuristic feel to it! It seems to catch a lot of people&#8217;s attention everywhere I go. The LunaTik is <a href="http://lunatik.com/lunatik-black">available for purchase</a> in many colors and costs $79.95.</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/13288936320bf1t0y4a9b08emc066fscumbag13288936324ozf6t7hnm6qkgaypjyd1328893632.png" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/reviews/review-lunatik.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Review: LunaTik http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FrTe7l1 via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/reviews/review-lunatik.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/reviews/review-lunatik.html&title=Review: LunaTik" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/reviews/review-lunatik.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/reviews/review-lunatik.html&title=Review: LunaTik" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/reviews/review-lunatik.html&title=Review: LunaTik" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/apple" rel="tag">Apple</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-nano" rel="tag">iPod Nano</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/review" rel="tag">Review</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/reviews/review-lunatik.html" title="Review: LunaTik">Review: LunaTik</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Parth Dhebar on Tuesday 6th December 2011 01:41:43 AM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/reviews" title="View all posts in Reviews" rel="category tag">Reviews</a>. However, let me break the news to you. Apple <a title="Articles related to iPhone" href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/iphone" rel="tag" target="_blank">iPhone</a> 4 might take a few more weeks or months to land on Indian shores. How do I know it is beyond what this post is about.</p><p><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Apple Store India" border="0" alt="Apple Store India" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images2/postimg/New-iPod-Touch-iP_E493/apple_store_india.png" width="451" height="188" /></p><p>If you might ask why, I will just elaborate by saying that they don&#8217;t have a lucrative business in India to start selling their devices. With a high price range of about INR 35,000 to INR 40,000, the device is out of bounds for several users. Even when iPhone first launched in India, there <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/iphone-doesnt-even-sell-1000-devices-on-launch-in-india.html" target="_blank">were hardly 1000-4000 buyers</a>, that in itself is deterrent to the company. Most of the iPhone and iPod Touch users in India have bought their devices through the grey channel and from out of the country.</p><p>If Apple does sell 1,00,000 units in India, their margin would be somewhere around 10%. Considering the import duty and other marketing costs, the profit is minimal. If you take all of this into consideration, Apple would not even consider bringing the iPhone 4 into Indian markets altogether, but they will in course of time.</p><p>If you do want to get your hands on an Apple device, the new <a title="Articles Related to iPod Touch" href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-touch" rel="tag" target="_blank">iPod Touch</a>, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle are available at the Apple India Store now at Apple.co.in/store, go ahead and book yours, but don&#8217;t expect to see an iPhone 4 at your door for the next few months at least.</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/1328893632f9wlv75tzhyvw5wvdg7iscumbag132889363217ciugz2o7lgq2o9cs1328893632.png" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/iphone-4-india.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=New iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle Lands in India, No Sign of iPhone 4 Yet http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FaOqmxl via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/iphone-4-india.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/iphone-4-india.html&title=New iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle Lands in India, No Sign of iPhone 4 Yet" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/iphone-4-india.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/iphone-4-india.html&title=New iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle Lands in India, No Sign of iPhone 4 Yet" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/iphone-4-india.html&title=New iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle Lands in India, No Sign of iPhone 4 Yet" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/apple" rel="tag">Apple</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/apple-store" rel="tag">Apple Store</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/india" rel="tag">India</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/iphone-4" rel="tag">iPhone 4</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-nano" rel="tag">iPod Nano</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-shuffle" rel="tag">iPod Shuffle</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-touch" rel="tag">iPod Touch</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-touch-4g" rel="tag">iPod Touch 4G</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/iphone-4-india.html" title="New iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle Lands in India, No Sign of iPhone 4 Yet">New iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle Lands in India, No Sign of iPhone 4 Yet</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Keith Dsouza on Saturday 16th October 2010 04:33:58 PM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/india-telecom" title="View all posts in Indian Telecom and Broadband" rel="category tag">Indian Telecom and Broadband</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/tech-news" title="View all posts in Tech News" rel="category tag">Tech News</a>. First up, Steve Jobs announced   a brand new iPod Shuffle. The new iPod Shuffle looks pretty similar to its predecessor. This time around Apple has added Genius <a href="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/posts/e5ef0b191f7f_14CAD/iPodNano.jpg"><img style="display: inline; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border: 0px;" title="iPod Nano" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/posts/e5ef0b191f7f_14CAD/iPodNano_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="iPod Nano" width="396" height="263" align="right" /></a>Mixes to the Shuffle as well. The Shuffle retains the small and wearable design of its predecessor, as well as the easy to use buttons.</p><p>Next in line is the iPod Nano. The new Nano looks totally different from its predecessor. The new Nano features a very small multi-touch enabled screen. Gone is the click wheel which was found in the older generation iPod Nano. The new iPod Nano also features a clip, volume buttons, FM Radio, Nike+, Pedometer and voice over. The screen of the Nano will also automatically rotate if the device is clipped in a non-standard direction.</p><p>Last but not the least is the iPod Touch. The new iPod Touch is basically an iPhone 4 without a GSM antenna. The new iPod Touch features Retina Display which we first saw on the iPhone 4. It is powered by a 1 GHz A4 Chip and packs in a 3-axis Gyro censor. The new iTouch will also come with a camera at its back and front. The camera at the back of the device will be able to record videos in 720p HD resolution. The front camera will allow the device to make video calls, dubbed FaceTimeby Apple using Wi-Fi.</p><p>The iPod Shuffle is capable of providing up to 15hours of continuous music playback, while the Nano can pump out music for up to 24 hours. The new iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano and the iPod Touch will be up for sale next week and are already up for pre-order. The new iPod Shuffle costs $49 and will be available in five colors.</p><p>The iPod Nano will be available in seven new colors and the 8GB model will sell for $149 while the 16GB version will sell for $179. The iPod Touch will be available in 8GB, 32GB and 64GB variants for $229, $299 and $399 respectively.</p><p>(<a href="http://www.gdgt.com">Source</a>)</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/1328893632as9cop8n5634tlo7oqduscumbag1328893632lggr329kyciv3y65wdto1328893632.god" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/ipod-touch-4g-with-2-cameras-and-other-ipod-design-announced.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=iPod Touch 4G With 2 Cameras and Other iPod Design Announced http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FaEKvby via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/ipod-touch-4g-with-2-cameras-and-other-ipod-design-announced.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/ipod-touch-4g-with-2-cameras-and-other-ipod-design-announced.html&title=iPod Touch 4G With 2 Cameras and Other iPod Design Announced" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/ipod-touch-4g-with-2-cameras-and-other-ipod-design-announced.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/ipod-touch-4g-with-2-cameras-and-other-ipod-design-announced.html&title=iPod Touch 4G With 2 Cameras and Other iPod Design Announced" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/ipod-touch-4g-with-2-cameras-and-other-ipod-design-announced.html&title=iPod Touch 4G With 2 Cameras and Other iPod Design Announced" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/apple" rel="tag">Apple</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-nano" rel="tag">iPod Nano</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-shuffle" rel="tag">iPod Shuffle</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-touch" rel="tag">iPod Touch</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/ipod-touch-4g-with-2-cameras-and-other-ipod-design-announced.html" title="iPod Touch 4G With 2 Cameras and Other iPod Design Announced">iPod Touch 4G With 2 Cameras and Other iPod Design Announced</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Rajesh Pandey on Wednesday 1st September 2010 02:30:04 PM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/mobile-news" title="View all posts in Mobile News" rel="category tag">Mobile News</a>. Instead, Apple released the new iPod Nano(s) with a<a href="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/posts/NextGenerationiPodTouchToSportA5MPCamera_13620/AppleiPodTouch.jpg"><img style="display: inline; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;" title="Apple iPod Touch" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/posts/NextGenerationiPodTouchToSportA5MPCamera_13620/AppleiPodTouch_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Apple iPod Touch" width="371" height="272" align="right" /></a> camera. Now rumors have again cropped up that the next generation iPod Touch will be sporting a <em>5MP</em> camera at its back. The next generation of the device will also be able to recording videos in 720p HD resolution.</p><p>The device will also feature an accelerometer and a gyroscope which will help in taking gaming to the next level on the iPod Touch. According to the slides of a presentation from John Lewis, it is also expected that the next generation iPod Touch will feature FaceTime. This also indicates that the device will have a front facing camera. FaceTime allows users to make video calls over Wi-Fi.</p><p>Apple is expected to release the next generation of iPods, and iPod Touch in the month of September. The source of this news is John Lewis, who is one of the biggest retailers in Britain.</p><p>(<a href="http://electricpig.co.uk/2010/07/08/new-ipod-touch-5mp-camera-and-facetime-incoming-britains-top-sellers-say-so/">Source</a>)</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/1328893632ezu3fje2pypxc2tqjpkhscumbag13288936324e0wtbljo089g8h77bd1328893632.png" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gadgets-news/new-ipod-touch-to-sport-5mp-camera-facetime.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Next Generation iPod Touch To Sport A 5MP Camera And FaceTime http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2Fd2aOgp via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/gadgets-news/new-ipod-touch-to-sport-5mp-camera-facetime.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gadgets-news/new-ipod-touch-to-sport-5mp-camera-facetime.html&title=Next Generation iPod Touch To Sport A 5MP Camera And FaceTime" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gadgets-news/new-ipod-touch-to-sport-5mp-camera-facetime.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/gadgets-news/new-ipod-touch-to-sport-5mp-camera-facetime.html&title=Next Generation iPod Touch To Sport A 5MP Camera And FaceTime" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gadgets-news/new-ipod-touch-to-sport-5mp-camera-facetime.html&title=Next Generation iPod Touch To Sport A 5MP Camera And FaceTime" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/apple" rel="tag">Apple</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/facetime" rel="tag">FaceTime</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod" rel="tag">iPod</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-nano" rel="tag">iPod Nano</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/ipod-touch" rel="tag">iPod Touch</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/wifi" rel="tag">WiFi</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gadgets-news/new-ipod-touch-to-sport-5mp-camera-facetime.html" title="Next Generation iPod Touch To Sport A 5MP Camera And FaceTime">Next Generation iPod Touch To Sport A 5MP Camera And FaceTime</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Rajesh Pandey on Friday 9th July 2010 12:34:37 PM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/gadgets-news" title="View all posts in Gadgets News" rel="category tag">Gadgets News</a>.
