Apple may be releasing a new version of iPhone OS pretty soon, however, the folks at Gizmodo have already got their hands dirty with the new iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 4 and have posted some new features which will be available in the latest iPhone OS by Apple.
The first noticeable change in iPhone OS Beta 4 is the home screen, where Apple has clubbed together utility apps like the Calculator, compass, voice memo and clock under a new icon called Utilities. In addition to that, there are several new wallpapers pre-included.
iPhone OS Beta 4 also has an option for tethering, using which users can share their phone internet connection with their laptop or other WiFi enabled devices. Other than these there are several other changes under the hood. Though this might not be the final version of the iPhone OS 4 and there may be several more betas and release candidates in the future, we will keep you updated on the latest details of the next generation iPhone OS, so stay tuned.

In addition to that, Apple might also release a newer version of the iPhone, which could either be the iPhone 4G or iPhone HD, however, nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
