HTC Desire 820 With 64-bit Processor Announced In India

Earlier this month, HTC unveiled the HTC Desire 820 smartphone at the IFA 2014 event in Berlin. This handset is the successor of the popular Desire 816 smartphone. Today, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer finally announced the much-awaited Desire 820 smartphone in India. However, this device will be available in two variants. The Desire 820 packs a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, while the Desire 820q comes with a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor.

The HTC Desire 820 features an 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfie lovers. It comes with the Photo Booth and Live Makeup feature which lets you preview the image you just took and set the desired level of skin smoothing before taking the photo. Oppo Launches N1 Mini In India For INR 26,990

As expected, Oppo finally launched the mini version of its flagship smartphone. The Oppo N1 Mini comes with a rotating 13 megapixel camera similar to its bigger brother, which acts as a rear as well as a front-facing camera. It runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based Color OS.

Oppo N1 Mini comes with a price-tag of INR 26,990, which is almost double than the market price of Xiaomi Mi3 which comes with much better specifications. This handset measures 148.4 x 72.2 x 9.2 mm and weighs 150 grams. Oppo N1 Mini will be available in Light Blue, White and Lemon Yellow colors.

Panasonic Launches T41, P41 And P61 Android Smartphones In India

Panasonic recently launched three new Android smartphones in the Indian market. Panasonic T41, P41 and P61 runs on the latest Android 4.4 (KitKat) Operating System. These devices are priced between INR 7990 to INR 14,990. The low-end T41 will compete with the Moto E and Micromax Canvas Fire A104, while the high-end P61 will compete with the Moto G and Xiaomi Mi 3 in India.

Samsung Galaxy S5 4G Variant Launched In India

Back in March, Samsung launched its newest flagship device, the Galaxy S5 in India. This handset was powered by the in-house Octa-Core Exynos 5422 processor. Today, the South Korean tech giant finally launched the 4G variant of its flagship smartphone in India. Apart from the additional connectivity option, this handset packs a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor instead of the Exynos processor.

Sony finally launched the Xperia Z Ultra phablet in India. This devices was announced and showcased last month at the Mobile Asia Expo 2013 in Shanghai.
