Huawei Ascend G330 Launched In India For Rs.11,490

Along with the Ascend G600, Huawei has also launched the Android powered Ascend G330 smartphone in India. This handset comes with entry-level specs including a 4 inch display, 1 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM and much more. Sadly, the device is being shipped with the out-dated Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. We are not sure if the manufacturer will upgrade this device to the newer version of Android. The Huawei Ascend G330 offers 7 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati & Punjabi.

Huawei Ascend G330 features a 4 inch WVGA display, sporting a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, Huawei Emotion UI, 5 megapixel front-facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash, VGA front-facing camera for video calls and so on.

It also comes with the usual 3.5 mm headset jack, Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, Bluetooth, DLNA, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, Micro SD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, A-GPS, MicroUSB 2.0, Google Play Store, up to 350 hours of stand-by time, up to 5 hours of talk-time and a 1500 mAh battery.

Huawei Ascend G330 comes with a price-tag of Rs.11,490 (approx. $210) in India. This handset will compete with other entry-level Android smartphones such as Micromax A101, Xperia Tipo and HTC Explorer in the Indian market. Huawei Ascend G330 can be easily purchased from online channels like Flipkart, Infibeam, Snapdeal as well as from retailers such as Reliance Digital, Croma and Huawei Experience outlets.
