HTC Flyer was originally launched for $499.99. Due to the low sales of this tablet, Best Buy permanently reduced the price of the HTC Flyer from $499.99 to $299.99.

HTC recently launched its much-awaited tablet, the HTC Flyer in India. This device runs on the Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) OS. It comes with a 7 inch touchscreen display, 1.5 GHz Processor, 5 megapixel camera, 3G connectivity and more.

The HTC Flyer was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 in Barcelona. Flipkart, a popular online retailer in India, is currently taking pre-orders for the HTC Flyer in India for Rs.37,999.

The Wi-Fi only version of the HTC Flyer is finally available for purchase in the US via Best Buy. The 3G version is expected to arrive in the coming weeks. The Wi-Fi only HTC Flyer can be easily purchased from the Best Buy stores for $499.99 without any contract.

Details of the HTC Puccini, a 19 inch Android tablet powered by Android 3.0.1 have leaked. It has the Qualcomm MSM8660, a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

HTC Flyer is currently available for purchase in UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Romania.

HTC Flyer originally runs on the old Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. But, HTC recently mentioned in a tweet that, the HTC Flyer will get the Android 3.0 Honeycomb update shortly after launch.

The Wi-Fi only version of the HTC Flyer has been priced at £479 in the UK. It will be available from May 17 at PC World.
