We already know that HTC is planning to launch a new smartphone in the next few days. Last week, we have posted the leaked press shot of the HTC’s upcoming smartphone with the codename HTC Proto. Now, it seems that the device will be called as the HTC Desire X while it reaches the market. The guys at ePrice recently shared the hands-on pics as well as the complete specs of this device.
The specs of HTC Desire X matches with the leaked specs of the HTC Proto. The design and specs of this device is almost similar to the previously launched HTC Desire V, which was the company’s first dual-SIM smartphone. However, HTC Desire X will feature an upgraded specs minus the dual-SIM functionality.
HTC Proto will come with a 4 inch Super LCD display, sporting a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels, Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System, 1 GHz dual-core processor, HTC Sense UI 4.0, 5 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 786 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32 expandable memory, 25 GB dropbox storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, Beats Audio, Google Play Store and a 1650 mAh battery. This handset measures 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3 mm and weighs 120 grams.
HTC Desire X is expected to be available in white and blue colors. This handset will be unveiled this week at the IFA 2012 event in Berlin. Until then, check out some hands-on pics of this device after the break.
