HTC Desire SV Announced; Coming To India This Month For Rs.22,590

HTC recently announced the mid-range Desire SV smartphone. This handset is specially targeted at the emerging market of Asia including India. HTC Desire SV is a dual-SIM smartphone, which runs on the old Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. This handset is basically an upgraded version of the dual-SIM Desire V smartphone. The company has also promised to roll out the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for this device in the coming months.

HTC Desire SV features a 4.3 inch Super LCD2 touchscreen display, sporting a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 1 GHz Cortex A5 dual-core processor, Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, HTC Sense 4 UI, 8 megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash, Beats Audio, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5 mm headset jack, 768 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32 GB internal memory, 25 GB DropBox cloud storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, A-GPS and a 1620 mAh battery. This handset measures 129.7 x 67.9 x 10.7 mm and weighs 131 grams.

Sadly, this handset does not feature a front-facing camera for video calls. This device will be available in Radical Yellow and Stealth Black colors. HTC Desire SV comes with a price tag of Rs.22.590 (approx. $420) in India. This handset will go on sale during the second half of this month.
