Samsung Launches The Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy Y Duos & Galaxy Y Pro Duos In India

Samsung recently launched 3 new dual-SIM smartphones, the Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos in India. The company has already announced the Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos during the end of 2011, however the Galaxy Ace Duos is the latest addition to the Samsung’s dual-SIM Galaxy family.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is basically the dual-SIM version of the highly popular Galaxy Ace smartphone. Both the Galaxy Ace Duos and Galaxy Y Duos comes with a full touchscreen display. On the other hand, the Galaxy Y Pro Duos features a touchscreen display as well as a full QWERTY keyboard.

Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos features a 3.5 inch HVGA display, sporting a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 832 MHz processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, Samsung TouchWiz UI, dual-SIM (GSM+CDMA), 5 megapixel rear camera, microSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, microUSB 2.0, Android Market and a 1650 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Y Duos comes with a 3.14 inch QVGA display, sporting a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, 832 MHz processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, Samsung TouchWiz UI, dual SIM (GSM+GSM), 3 megapixel rear camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, 384 MB RAM, 160 MB internal memory, microSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, microUSB 2.0 and a 1300 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos features a 2.6 inch QVGA display, sporting a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels, 832 MHz processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, Samsung TouchWiz UI, Optical trackpad, dual SIM (GSM+GSM), 3 megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera for video calls, 384 MB RAM, 160 MB internal memory, microSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity and a 1350 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos comes with a price-tag of Rs.16,900 (approx. $340), Rs.10,490 (approx. $210) and Rs.11,090 (approx. $225) respectively.

Samsung Unveils The Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos Dual-SIM Phones

Samsung has just announced two new Android running dual-SIM handsets – the Galaxy Y Duos and the Galaxy Y Pro Duos. While the Galaxy Y is a touch-only handset, the Y Pro comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard as well. The Y has a 3.14-inch QVGA (240×320) resolution screen, while the Y Pro has a 2.6-inch QVGA LCD screen.
Both the handsets are powered by an 832MHz processor and run Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWIZ running on top of it. Other key features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3MP fixed-focus camera on the back, microSD card slot and A-GPS. The Galaxy Y Pro also has a front-facing VGA camera. The handsets are also capable of recording videos in VGA resolution. The phones will have 4GB of internal memory, and will come with a 2GB microSD card pre-loaded in the box. Both the phones also have 3G, 512MB of internal memory and 384MB of RAM.
Both the handsets are expected to hit the Asian markets sometime in January 2012. The Korean company did not announce the pricing of either of these handsets.
