Samsung Unveils The Galaxy W and Galaxy M Pro Smartphones

Samsung recently announced two new devices, in the Galaxy range of smartphones, the Galaxy W and Galaxy M Pro. Both the handsets runs on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System. Samsung Galaxy comes with a 3.7 inch touchscreen display, while the Galaxy M Pro sports a 2.66 inch touchscreen display as well as full QWERTY keyboard.

Samsung Galaxy W:

Samsung Galaxy W features a 3.7 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels, 1.4 GHz processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash, HD (720p) video recording and playback, VGA front facing camera for video calls, etc.

Other features include a 3.5mm headset jack, stereo FM Radio with RDS, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS with A-GPS, 4 GB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, music player with SoundAlive and a 1500 mAh battery. This handset also comes with the Social Hub, Games Hub and Music Hub. You can also connect your phone to computer over Wi-Fi using the Kies Air.

Samsung Galaxy M Pro:

Samsung Galaxy M Pro comes with a 2.66 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480 × 320 pixels, 1 GHz processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, Full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash, HD (720p) video recording and playback, VGA front facing camera for video calls, 3.5mm headset jack, stereo FM Radio with RDS, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS with A-GPS, 1 GB user memory, 2.5 GB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, music player with SoundAlive and a 1350 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy W and Galaxy M Pro will be showcased next week at IFA. The price and release date of these smartphones are still unknown.
