When you perform this search at Google.com the search page will flip over and rotate just like a plane would do while it is doing a barrel roll.</p><p>According to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrel_roll" target="_blank">Wikipedia</a>:</p><blockquote><p>A <b>barrel roll</b> is an aerial maneuver in which an airplane makes a complete rotation on its longitudinal axis while following a helical path, approximately maintaining its original direction. It is sometimes described as &quot;a combination of a loop and a roll&quot;. The G-force is kept positive (but not constant) on the object throughout the maneuver, commonly between 2-3 G, and no less than 0.5 G.</p></blockquote><p>So go ahead and to a barrel roll at Google by search for &quot;Do a barrel roll&quot; or just click on <a href="https://www.google.com/#hl=en&amp;sugexp=kjrmc&amp;cp=16&amp;gs_id=6&amp;xhr=t&amp;q=do+a+barrel+roll&amp;tok=b4hO960HtAfgwbmGrX_zYg&amp;pf=p&amp;sclient=psy-ab&amp;site=&amp;source=hp&amp;qscrl=1&amp;pbx=1&amp;oq=do+a+barrel+roll&amp;aq=0&amp;aqi=g4&amp;aql=f&amp;gs_sm=&amp;gs_upl=&amp;bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.,cf.osb&amp;fp=aee690d59afda60d&amp;biw=1348&amp;bih=760" target="_blank">this link</a>.</p><p><strong>Bonus:</strong> Try searching for &quot;tilt&quot; and &quot;askew&quot; as well.</p><p>Thanks for the h/t @slate.</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/1328892183oa5t33czaphd05aozqkscumbag1328892183ghbqj1sn4niezmttqent1328892183.ram" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/do-a-barrel-roll-google-search-fun.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Do a Barrel Roll Google Search Fun http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FsDAuBZ via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/do-a-barrel-roll-google-search-fun.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/do-a-barrel-roll-google-search-fun.html&title=Do a Barrel Roll Google Search Fun" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/do-a-barrel-roll-google-search-fun.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/do-a-barrel-roll-google-search-fun.html&title=Do a Barrel Roll Google Search Fun" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/do-a-barrel-roll-google-search-fun.html&title=Do a Barrel Roll Google Search Fun" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/funny" rel="tag">Funny</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/google-news" rel="tag">Google News</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/google-search" rel="tag">Google Search</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/humor" rel="tag">Humor</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/do-a-barrel-roll-google-search-fun.html" title="Do a Barrel Roll Google Search Fun">Do a Barrel Roll Google Search Fun</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Keith Dsouza on Thursday 3rd November 2011 01:55:54 PM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/tech-news" title="View all posts in Tech News" rel="category tag">Tech News</a>. Could we use technology to teach our kids alphabets. For example, we have learnt the alphabets by using &#8220;A for Apple&#8221;, &#8220;B for Ball&#8221;, &#8220;C for cat&#8221; and so on.</p><p>However, technology has changed our generation and we have become so advanced now that we do need to change which object we relate to an alphabet. And my friend Jatin Sapra (<a href="http://about.me/jatinsapra">http://about.me/jatinsapra</a>) has done something similar.</p><p>Here is an alphabet chart which relates the alphabet to technologies that rock the world today. Kudos to Jatin on this, he said that he did it because he was bored. Now the question is whether you would want to teach your child using the below alphabet chart? Hit me with your comments. Only this time, they used a PSP case with cellophane paper to make sabazushi. Sabazushi, as wikipedia says, is a dish made of raw mackerel and rice. The video is a pretty hilarious (even though I do not know the language) and is an innovative way of making sushi… and um… carrying it around in a PSP case for snacking sessions with your <em>Monster Hunter </em>playing sessions.</p><div id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:82c9f72f-6aa3-4e86-a5a4-a3be367d4c61" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" style="margin: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding: 0px;"><div><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="640" height="390" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EEuAvjQmNUI?hl=en&amp;hd=1" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EEuAvjQmNUI?hl=en&amp;hd=1"></embed></object></div></div><p>Of course, the question of where exactly will the PSP be stored while the sushi gets cold[er] in the case is another question. These Japanese people, I tell you they&#8217;re absolutely bonkers. There&#8217;s an endless list of good things that the Japanese do from electronics to anime. There&#8217;s also an endless-<em>er</em> list of crazy things that they do. In this case, it&#8217;s a man <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E81j9M64Ssc&amp;feature=player_embedded">who deep fries a battered Sony PlayStation Portable</a> (PSP) covered in batter (see what I did there?) and then tries to eat it. In these ten minutes, the man is seen introducing his PSP which incidentally has a Monster Hunter game running (how typical) and laughing maniacally as he coats it in batter in the kitchen, near a pan of <em>boiling oil</em>. Then he drops it in the oil, puts on cool shades and starts laughing. Three and a half minutes in, the two of them start coughing from the fried fumes of electronics and plastic.</p><div id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:d44e0d23-4589-4c28-bdc1-e3cc76747e3c" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" style="margin: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding: 0px;"><div><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="640" height="390" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/E81j9M64Ssc?hl=en&amp;hd=1" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/E81j9M64Ssc?hl=en&amp;hd=1"></embed></object></div></div><p>Eventually he&#8217;s seen taking the melted, battered PSP out and dipping it in some sort of sauce. Or so I hope, for I really <em>really</em> suck at judging a game genre in which a hundred games are released every year. However, I am pretty sure <em>Portal 2</em> will be the funniest FPS to come out this year, mostly because it takes itself too seriously (on purpose) and is ridiculously silly at times.</p><p><a href="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images2/Kaz/Portal-2s-Pre-Order-Advert-is-Hilariousl_13351/header_292x136.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="header_292x136" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images2/Kaz/Portal-2s-Pre-Order-Advert-is-Hilariousl_13351/header_292x136_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="header_292x136" width="240" height="112" /></a></p><p>Take, for example, this advertisement for <em>Portal 2</em>&#8216;s preorder that is going to hit the developer&#8217;s (Valve) digital distribution store Steam very soon. Released on Valentine&#8217;s Day, the ad mocks the concept of gifting ideas for the female species.</p><p>Okay, that&#8217;s about as far as I&#8217;m allowed to say without spoiling the entire advert for you. The thing is that it&#8217;s done very well (and probably within Valve&#8217;s Source engine, judging by the way things moved when… erm… other things exploded). Watch the video <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5I3VnCHWsU&amp;feature=player_embedded">here</a>!</p><div id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:9f7c5bbf-c9c6-458a-ae52-af16d5cf8637" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" style="margin: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding: 0px;"><div><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="640" height="390" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/w5I3VnCHWsU?hl=en&amp;hd=1" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/w5I3VnCHWsU?hl=en&amp;hd=1"></embed></object></div></div><p>However, contrary to what the video says, <em>Portal 2</em> is not available for preorder. At least not from my country (and not from my random Tor IP either). Is this another one of those Valve Time debacles? Is this a sick joke from Valve&#8217;s side, as we poor mortals refresh the Portal 2 page, hoping for a preorder? Is this the end of the world??</p><p>No, it&#8217;s probably just a mistake by the <em>Portal 2</em> PR team. It&#8217;s alright everybody; we don&#8217;t need to do a flash protest here. Move along.</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/13288921839axx7esk33aqb4tn20bvscumbag1328892183puxsiin5ij6uc01fx9c1328892183.jpg" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/fact-portal-2s-pre-order-advert-is-hilariously-cute.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=FACT: Portal 2&rsquo;s Pre-Order Advert is Hilariously Cute http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2Fhjp3hK via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/fact-portal-2s-pre-order-advert-is-hilariously-cute.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/fact-portal-2s-pre-order-advert-is-hilariously-cute.html&title=FACT: Portal 2&rsquo;s Pre-Order Advert is Hilariously Cute" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/fact-portal-2s-pre-order-advert-is-hilariously-cute.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/fact-portal-2s-pre-order-advert-is-hilariously-cute.html&title=FACT: Portal 2&rsquo;s Pre-Order Advert is Hilariously Cute" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/fact-portal-2s-pre-order-advert-is-hilariously-cute.html&title=FACT: Portal 2&rsquo;s Pre-Order Advert is Hilariously Cute" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/advertisements" rel="tag">Advertisements</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/funny" rel="tag">Funny</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/gaming" rel="tag">Gaming</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/portal-2" rel="tag">Portal 2</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/pre-order" rel="tag">Pre-order</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/preorder" rel="tag">preorder</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/valentine-day" rel="tag">Valentine Day</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/videos" rel="tag">Videos</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/fact-portal-2s-pre-order-advert-is-hilariously-cute.html" title="FACT: Portal 2&rsquo;s Pre-Order Advert is Hilariously Cute">FACT: Portal 2&rsquo;s Pre-Order Advert is Hilariously Cute</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by TCA Lakshmi Narasimhan on Monday 14th February 2011 11:46:21 AM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/gaming" title="View all posts in Gaming" rel="category tag">Gaming</a>. After Nokia CEO said that the popular developer framework Qt will not be part of <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/nokia-finally-adopts-windows-phone-platform.html?utm_source=recentpost&amp;utm_medium=web&amp;utm_campaign=recent_post" target="_blank">their Microsoft deal</a> for <a title="News about Windows Phone 7" href="http://techie-buzz.com/techie-buzz-search-results?cx=partner-pub-2703385610225771:4q7jy0-xpuo&amp;cof=FORID:11&amp;ie=ISO-8859-1&amp;q=windows+phone+7&amp;sa=&amp;siteurl=techie-buzz.com/" target="_blank">Windows Phone 7</a>, someone definitely had to get pissed off.</p><p>After all Nokia has been trumpeting about Qt to all their developers for a long time and even did a huge show about it at the <a title="Nokia World Posts" href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/nokia-world" rel="tag" target="_blank">Nokia World</a> 2010 where they awarded money to the best apps.</p><p>So what does Nokia do with Qt now? NO one can say, but a smart guy definitely came up with a site which could possibly be mistaken for an actual QT port for Windows Phone 7. Don&#8217;t get fooled though, it is just a satire and is poking fun at Nokia. Basically, what they were saying is that our game, <a href="http://www.bulletstorm.com/">Bulletstorm</a>, is not this game. It is definitely everything but this game. Look at this game. This game is stupid. You know which game we are talking about, right? Yes, <em>that</em> game., more or less.</p><p><a href="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images2/Kaz/Call-of-Duty-Parody.25-Million-Downloads_FF79/dutycalls.png"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="dutycalls" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images2/Kaz/Call-of-Duty-Parody.25-Million-Downloads_FF79/dutycalls_thumb.png" border="0" alt="dutycalls" width="240" height="70" /></a></p><p>It is, in essence, a rather large (~800MB), ESRB rated 17+ (or so their website claims) game that parodies the <em>Call of Duty </em>games, and is pretty funny while doing it. Coming from the folks that created <em>Painkiller</em> and <em>Gears of War</em>, it is a pretty bold move to reclaim the First Person Shooter market dynamics. It was, in a sense, and advertisement for their game too as I have made it clear with my inherent knowledge of psychology, psychoanalysis, psychohistory, psychogeography and other psycho subjects in the first paragraph.</p><p>The developers were (obviously) very happy with this, and decided to enthusiastically tweet about the success of <em>Duty Calls</em>. How best to celebrate this grand success, you ask? By releasing <em>Bulletstorm</em> wallpapers, naturally:-</p><blockquote><p>1.25 million Duty Calls downloads! We say thanks with Duty Calls Wallpapers over at our Facebook page:<a href="http://www.facebook.com/Bulletstorm">http://www.facebook.com/Bulletstorm</a></p></blockquote><p>Do take a look at <em>Duty Calls</em>, the parody of your beloved FPS series <a href="http://www.thedutycalls.com/download.html?">here</a>.</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/1328892183m1894j04lrwwzzhovsvscumbag1328892183yuemmg9h3e3k101slfn1328892183.png" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/call-of-duty-parody-hits-1-25-million-downloads.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Call of Duty Parody Hits 1.25 Million Downloads http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FicvSiL via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/call-of-duty-parody-hits-1-25-million-downloads.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/call-of-duty-parody-hits-1-25-million-downloads.html&title=Call of Duty Parody Hits 1.25 Million Downloads" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/call-of-duty-parody-hits-1-25-million-downloads.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/call-of-duty-parody-hits-1-25-million-downloads.html&title=Call of Duty Parody Hits 1.25 Million Downloads" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/call-of-duty-parody-hits-1-25-million-downloads.html&title=Call of Duty Parody Hits 1.25 Million Downloads" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/call-of-duty" rel="tag">Call of Duty</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/free" rel="tag">Free</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/freeware" rel="tag">Freeware</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/funny" rel="tag">Funny</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/gaming" rel="tag">Gaming</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/parody" rel="tag">Parody</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/call-of-duty-parody-hits-1-25-million-downloads.html" title="Call of Duty Parody Hits 1.25 Million Downloads">Call of Duty Parody Hits 1.25 Million Downloads</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by TCA Lakshmi Narasimhan on Tuesday 8th February 2011 11:00:41 AM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/gaming" title="View all posts in Gaming" rel="category tag">Gaming</a>. The gadget is built by Steelers fans who are technology enthusiast. You can watch the Towel twirl live in action by visiting <a href="http://twerribletowel.com/">http://twerribletowel.com/</a>. The site will display your Twitter handle and show you the number of twirl&#8217;s it has made.</p><p>Quite interesting and amazing. Want to try this out? Go ahead and open <a href="http://twerribletowel.com/">http://twerribletowel.com/</a> and then tweet anything with the hashtag #steelersnation to get it rolling. Have fun.</p><p>(h/t @fossiloflife)</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/13288921835xvotqq04k56qhg0yhlscumbag1328892183gbs27lf5cl3ux3i0p7qm1328892183.ahole" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/social-networking/pittsburg-steelers-fans-make-a-towel-twirl-with-steelersnation-hashtag.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Pittsburg Steelers Fans Make A Towel Twirl With #Steelersnation Hashtag http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FhGzKj0 via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/social-networking/pittsburg-steelers-fans-make-a-towel-twirl-with-steelersnation-hashtag.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/social-networking/pittsburg-steelers-fans-make-a-towel-twirl-with-steelersnation-hashtag.html&title=Pittsburg Steelers Fans Make A Towel Twirl With #Steelersnation Hashtag" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/social-networking/pittsburg-steelers-fans-make-a-towel-twirl-with-steelersnation-hashtag.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/social-networking/pittsburg-steelers-fans-make-a-towel-twirl-with-steelersnation-hashtag.html&title=Pittsburg Steelers Fans Make A Towel Twirl With #Steelersnation Hashtag" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/social-networking/pittsburg-steelers-fans-make-a-towel-twirl-with-steelersnation-hashtag.html&title=Pittsburg Steelers Fans Make A Towel Twirl With #Steelersnation Hashtag" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/funny" rel="tag">Funny</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/innovations" rel="tag">Innovations</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/super-bowl" rel="tag">Super Bowl</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/super-bowl-xlv" rel="tag">Super Bowl XLV</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/twitter" rel="tag">Twitter</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/social-networking/pittsburg-steelers-fans-make-a-towel-twirl-with-steelersnation-hashtag.html" title="Pittsburg Steelers Fans Make A Towel Twirl With #Steelersnation Hashtag">Pittsburg Steelers Fans Make A Towel Twirl With #Steelersnation Hashtag</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Keith Dsouza on Tuesday 1st February 2011 04:49:35 PM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/social-networking" title="View all posts in Social Media" rel="category tag">Social Media</a>.
