Google recently decided to club all their privacy policies into a unified version. The reason Google provided was that they wanted to provide a personalized experience by combining all the information across the services they provide.

However, this change has caused a lot of people to become paranoid. In fact, Google has also received warnings from the EU among others. People have been deleting their Google history so that Google does not hold this information any more.

Well, is that enough? Actually not, so the good folks behind "Joy of Tech" have come up with a foolproof way on "How to keep Google from watching your searches".

Apple is a technology manufacturing giant, and it has remained strong in the past decade. Ever since the entry of the infamous iPod into the market, more of the iproducts were introduced. The iPhone and the iPad have made it into the list of the most-coveted gadgets, and every version keeps getting better.

As with any other gadget, the novelty causes a string of fake replicas. They can be copied perfectly from the original, often retaining the unique characteristics that make an Apple product genuine. However, it is usually quite a laugh to see some fake Apple products. Here are 10 of the most hilarious Apple replicas ever invented:

1. iPhone 3G Slider

It looks like an iPhone with a sleek touch-sensitive screen. But then again, it has a nice keyboard to make the look more complex.

2. iChat

If such thing as iChat was ever legalized by Apple, FaceTime would have never made it big. It would have been believable, but it may not be well-accepted by the consumers.

3. iArm

This would have been pretty cool, as even the iPad can be placed along your arm. Sadly, it was never confirmed to be an Apple original. Some people also think that it is plain ridiculous.

4. iPhone Nano

It would have been another great idea, but it sure would not be an original Apple creation. Think of it as a mini iPhone, only that it is fake. If you want a cool phone that can be attached to your belt, buy an iPhone and an iPod instead. In this case, it would be better to use two separate things.

5. iWatch Touch

Even watches are not spared from fake manufacturing. How do you think will you tap the miniature screen with your finger? If this became a hit device, major watch companies will be given a run for their money.

6. MacTab

It looks chic, sophisticated, but it is fake in all aspects. Even if this was never confirmed, it would have been a pretty sexy creation, and one which everybody would like to own. It is sleeker, thinner and more elegant than the traditional MacBook.

7. MacBook Nano

This is another brilliant parody of the MacBook, and it certainly does look cute. If you want a smaller computer, just get a netbook and save yourself from the hassle of owning a fake product.

8. iHand

Who would have thought that Apple would create robot-like gadgets? If this works, it will take the whole world by storm, and it will require people to cut their real hands off. The tagline The hand, evolvedis just like saying your real hand, removed.

9. iBox

Is a set of Apple-created gaming consoles cool? Maybe, if it were real! Apple would make a fresh innovation if this wild idea indeed came from them.

10. iPhone ATM

This is probably the most hilarious and the most impossible of the whole lot. An iPhone with a built-in ATM sounds way too unbelievable. As of this millennium, online banking still wins the hearts of the public.

These are just some of the many fake Apple products made by bored manufacturers and jealous contenders. Although they look like the real thing, you should only purchase original gadgets; otherwise you will only waste your money in buying something with mediocre quality. Rather than spending less on something that will not last long, why not invest your money with something that is sure to last?

Welcome to another edition of Friday Fun. Working on large software development projects can be quite demanding, especially if you have a deadline to meet. During this demanding period, it is a common practice among developers to unleash their creativity (and also let off steam) through code comments.

Users at PreCentral.net have managed to locate quite a few snarky and amusing comments present in Palm’s webOS code. While they aren’t as insane as the ones spotted by Codeulate (warning: NFSW), they are amusing and interesting in their own geeky way. While one developer labeled users as “slimy ******* users”, another revealed the time constraints he was working under. Here are some of my favorites:

To create a matrix effect using notepad, open notepad and type in the following text (download plain text file):

In this edition we take a look at search results for three search engines and compare who out of Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and Apple is more evil :-), it’s for fun so have a good laugh at it.

We used the search Is corporate evilto come up with this, we replaced corporate with either Google, Microsoft or Apple.

Who Is More Evil?

Surprisingly Google is more truthful about things here, so who is more evil according to Google? And the winner.. err Loser is Google with almost 40 million results, Yahoo comes in second with 21.2 million results, Microsoft comes in third with 17.2 million results and Apple comes in last with 16.3 million results.

No matter who lost, all are losers with that huge amount of search results.

We did try searching using Bing however the results were not that smart so we left it out. BTW who do you think is more evil out of these three corporate?
