The highly anticipated FIFA 2010 World Cup will start on June 11th, and I bet there will be millions of people around the world who will tune into the biggest football event in the world.

Guess who else is gearing up for the event? Google. If you use Google to search for any football related news or scores, Google displays all the group information and match timings, and possibly scores once the tournament kicks off.

However, in addition to that, if you scroll down to go through the next page, you will see a Google Easter Egg. Instead of the regular Gooooogle image, you will see a Goooooal image as shown in the image below.

The UEFA Champions League matches are now underway and the most exciting matches of the series will be played in the next few weeks. However, there is a high chance that you might not have access to a television to watch the matches online.

However, don’t let that deter your football spirit as you can watch all the UEFA Champions league matches and English Premier League matches live online using a Google Chrome Extension called Eplsite.

Once you download the extension from here, you can click on the football icon in the toolbar to view a list of current ongoing UEFA and EPL matches, clicking on a link will take you to the live streaming video for the match.
