On a recent search for the Indian Rupees symbol, I saw a new prompt in the results where I was suggested the answer based on the index Google had for it.</p><p><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="Google Search Answers" border="0" alt="Google Search Answers" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/postimg/GoogleTestingFeedbackSysteminSearch_287B/google_search_suggestion.png" width="466" height="181" /></p><p>The results had several sources which were factored by Google to display as an answer to the question. When I clicked on Show sources link, I saw a list of sources on which Google had based their answer on, as you can see below.</p><p><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="Google Search Answer Sources" border="0" alt="Google Search Answer Sources" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/postimg/GoogleTestingFeedbackSysteminSearch_287B/google_suggestion_based_on.png" width="402" height="201" /></p></p><p>Another interesting aspect of the new feature was that Google provided a &quot;Feedback&quot; option for the users to tell them whether the suggestion was right or wrong. The Feedback link only provides with a &quot;Yes&quot; or &quot; No&quot; option.</p><p><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="Google Search Answer Feedback" border="0" alt="Google Search Answer Feedback" src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/images/postimg/GoogleTestingFeedbackSysteminSearch_287B/google_search_feedback.png" width="445" height="128" /></p><p>The new Answering and Feedback system that is being tested by Google might just be used to ensure the integrity of Google robots. However, it could also be part of a new Google Labs feature that is being tested out for few people right now to show answers for common questions. I could not research this further as I could not find any other search queries which were part of this search experiment yet.</p><p>I tried this combination with several other searches but could not come up with the same question, answer, suggestion option for them. Are you seeing the suggestions and feedback option too?</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/13380970806yzoegfwlqex7341eloascumbag1338097080fs42wn1h7emtmtkziomn1338097080." class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/google-testing-answering-and-feedback-system-for-search.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Google Testing Answering And Feedback System For Search http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2F9e41Wt via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/google-testing-answering-and-feedback-system-for-search.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/google-testing-answering-and-feedback-system-for-search.html&title=Google Testing Answering And Feedback System For Search" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/google-testing-answering-and-feedback-system-for-search.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/google-testing-answering-and-feedback-system-for-search.html&title=Google Testing Answering And Feedback System For Search" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/google-testing-answering-and-feedback-system-for-search.html&title=Google Testing Answering And Feedback System For Search" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/exclusive" rel="tag">Exclusive</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/google-news" rel="tag">Google News</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/google-search" rel="tag">Google Search</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tech-news/google-testing-answering-and-feedback-system-for-search.html" title="Google Testing Answering And Feedback System For Search">Google Testing Answering And Feedback System For Search</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Keith Dsouza on Friday 25th June 2010 03:07:37 AM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/tech-news" title="View all posts in Tech News" rel="category tag">Tech News</a>. Wii is for fun gaming, exercising, dancing, playing Mario and more and not for playing Call of Duty, for which you will of course use the Xbox 360. Wii in itself has a cult status amongst its users for motion gaming.</p><p>Another important point this person brought up was the fact that <strong>if too many people crowd around the device sensor it become non responsive and has latency</strong>, so this means that the device is definitely not ready for house parties yet and is a bit buggy. Once again, this might be a non-issue when Kinect <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/microsoft-kinect-to-be-launched-on-november-4.html" target="_blank">actually comes out on November 4</a>. Another aspect of this claim is that neither has Microsoft demoed Kinect with a crowd and neither will be there games which will require lot of people to be near the sensor at once.</p><p>This issue might not be a big issue at all, however, it could be a problem when you have a crowd around or maybe use the Kinect to play Wii like games :).</p><p>Last but not the least, the person compared the device to <a title="Wikipedia article about EyeToy" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EyeToy" target="_blank">EyeToy</a>, a digital camera device which Sony came out with for the PS2 which used computer vision and gesture recognition to process images taken by the camera. Now, no Microsoft employee would like to compare their own device with, but like I said it could just be an anonymous person out there. With 100K plus employees you will always get one who does not like the product or place they work for.</p><p>Based on the comment by the person, it is fairly OK to say that even if this is true, I never had a doubt in my mind that Kinect would kill the Wii, it would take a real long time for them to do it. However, more importantly the sensor issue (if it exists) still has almost 4+ months to be fixed, so by November 4 you might not even see those issues. However, what if Microsoft can&#8217;t fix it or not live up to the expectations they have build up?</p> <img src="http://cache.techie-buzz.com/13380970805wztb0pv88vtrp1o4xlhscumbag1338097080xpzuewi5igg7uqwjacn1338097080.god" class="scumbags" /><div style="font-size:12px"> <strong>Share:</strong> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/microsoft-employee-says-kinect-buggy-and-not-a-wii-killer.html#commentrespond" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Comment on This Post</a> | <a href="http://twitter.com/home?source=techiebuzz&status=Microsoft Employee Says Kinect Buggy and Not A Wii Killer http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FczWM2i via @techiebuzzer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Tweet This</a> | <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/microsoft-employee-says-kinect-buggy-and-not-a-wii-killer.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Share on Facebook</a> | <a href="http://del.icio.us/post?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/microsoft-employee-says-kinect-buggy-and-not-a-wii-killer.html&title=Microsoft Employee Says Kinect Buggy and Not A Wii Killer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Save to Delicious</a> | <a href="http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/microsoft-employee-says-kinect-buggy-and-not-a-wii-killer.html" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Stumble This</a> | <a href="http://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/microsoft-employee-says-kinect-buggy-and-not-a-wii-killer.html&title=Microsoft Employee Says Kinect Buggy and Not A Wii Killer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Digg This</a> | <a href="http://www.reddit.com/submit?url=http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/microsoft-employee-says-kinect-buggy-and-not-a-wii-killer.html&title=Microsoft Employee Says Kinect Buggy and Not A Wii Killer" rel="bookmark" target="_blank">Reddit This</a></div> <br /><div><strong style="font-size:11px;">TAGS:</strong> <span style="text-transform:uppercase;font-size:11px;"><a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/editorial" rel="tag">Editorial</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/exclusive" rel="tag">Exclusive</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/gaming" rel="tag">Gaming</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/microsoft" rel="tag">Microsoft</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/microsoft-kinect" rel="tag">Microsoft Kinect</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/nintendo" rel="tag">Nintendo</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/sony" rel="tag">Sony</a>, <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/tag/wii" rel="tag">Wii</a></span><br/> </small></div><div style="background:#E1E1E1; border: dotted 1px; padding:5px; margin-top:5px;font-size:11px"> <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/gaming/microsoft-employee-says-kinect-buggy-and-not-a-wii-killer.html" title="Microsoft Employee Says Kinect Buggy and Not A Wii Killer">Microsoft Employee Says Kinect Buggy and Not A Wii Killer</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://techie-buzz.com" title="Techie Buzz">Techie Buzz</a> written by Keith Dsouza on Friday 25th June 2010 02:16:02 AM under <a href="http://techie-buzz.com/category/gaming" title="View all posts in Gaming" rel="category tag">Gaming</a>. Yes, users still won&#8217;t be able to use the iPhone 4 legally on the Verizon network. Users need to pay $199 for the iPhone 4 16GB version in the U.S. Along with the $199; they also need to sign a two-year contract with AT&amp;T. In Germany, T-Mobile remains the exclusive iPhone network carrier.   T-Mobile will also be offering the iPhone 4 in Netherlands.
