Bioware Announces Witch Hunt DLC For Dragon Age Origins

Bioware announced that they will be releasing the Witch Hunt DLC for Dragon Age Origins. This DLC is supposed to be the conclusion of the Dragon Age Origins storyline.

Witch Hunt Dragon Age Origins

All the fans of Dragon Age Origins wanted to know what happened to Morrigan (the beautiful mage) in the end of the game. This DLC will reveal all the secrets or more than what you bargained for, as said by Bioware.

According to me, this could be the best DLC of Dragon Age Origins because even after ten months since I started playing this game, I still wonder if the secret of Morrigan could be revealed. The key features in this DLC are:

1) Confront Morrigan in this dramatic conclusion to the Origins storyline

2) Earn powerful rewards that transfer into your Awakening and Origins campaign

3) Import your character from Origins or Awakening or create a new, high-level hero!

The Witch Hunt DLC will be released on 7 September 2010 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It will cost $7.

I am wondering what will happen in this DLC. If you have played Dragon Age Origins then do comment what you think will happen.

The story seems to be completely new and it has no relation between Dragon Age Origins. In the video you can see new weapons, powers and enemies. The game will be releasing on 8 March 2011 on PC, PS3 and Xbox platforms. You can also preorder it now. Here is the trailer, enjoy!

What to expect from E3?

Here’s a list of some of the big publishers’ lineup for E3:

Other Notes:

  • Microsoft will officially debut, demo and name “Project Natal” at E3 ( as of now, Natal is still a codename).
  • Sony’s page mentions “new games and hardware” revealed. Is this is a reference to the PSP2 ?
  • The Last Guardian is most probably one of the most anticipated games of E3. Little is known about this game, apart from a brief video shown at last year’s E3. Wonder what’s in store ?
  • Valve has confirmed a “big surprise” for E3 2010, which will be in-place of the existing E3 event that was Portal 2 screening. What will it be?

This year’s E3 boasts of a killer lineup. I can’t wait for the press conferences to start. What’re your expectations ? Do post a comment and let us know!

Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun Released for Free

The Command & Conquer series of games have always been pet games of the strategic gaming crowd. Truth to be said there was nothing more satisfying than a sneaky and stealthy Nod victory over those bumbling GDI forces (although I have had my share of defeats in the hands of berserk GDI commanders who eliminated my long-range guns before I got to build my SAMs). Ah, those were the days! However, you can now indulge in the nostalgia of three great C&C games downloaded straight from EA’s website! Yes, while Red Alert was launched for free to mark the 13th anniversary, and Tiberian Dawn was released a few years ago for free as well, as of yesterday the 12th of February 2010, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun has become free to download from EA’s website! And did I mention that you will be getting the Firestorm expansion free as well? I guess I did not!

Without further ado, here is the sort of intro you would get behind the boxes if you had picked it up a few years ago:-

Set in the early 21st century, Tiberian Sun once again pits the Global Defense Initiative against the Brotherhood of Nod in a struggle for control of the planet. With an epic storyline that unfolds as play progresses, players learn the reasons behind the worldwide outbreak of Tiberium and what happened to the notorious Nod leader Kane, who was presumed dead at the end of the first Command & Conquer.

It’s time to head up the Firestorm task force. Nod’s experiments have unknowingly released a horde of cybernetic nightmares upon the world. As GDI and Nod scramble to save themselves, they realize their only salvation lies in the unthinkable.

All of this makes me want to act like Invader Zim and let out an evil laugh of world domination!

As Kane would say: The Tiberian Sun has risen!

Download Tiberian Sun and Firestorm from EA’s website and make sure to follow the installation instructions!
