Motorola has finally started rolling out the Android 4.1 update for the Verizon Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx.

Verizon finally rolled out the much awaited Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for the Motorola Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx smartphones. This update will be rolled out in batches and it might take some days to reach your smartphone.

Motorola Razr Maxx is expected to arrive soon in India with a price-tag of Rs.31,999 (approx.$580). This handset offers continuous talk-time of more than 18 hours straight on a single charge, thanks to the beefy 3300 mAh battery.

Verizon Wireless recently reduced the price of Motorola Droid Razr Maxx from $299.99 to $199.99 with a 2 year service agreement. This handset offers continuous talk-time of more than 21 hours straight on a single charge.

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx will be available from January 26 for $299.99 with a 2 year service agreement. This handset currently runs on the Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) Operating System.

According to the Motorola’s official website, the much-awaited Motorola Droid Razr Maxx will be available for purchase from January 26, 2012. This handset will be available for $299.99 on contract.
