The Samsung Galaxy S series of handsets have another “certified” feature under its cap now. DivX have officially certified the Galaxy S series of phone as DivX HD certified. The Galaxy S series of handsets are the first Android handset to get this certification, and second overall.

The folks at DivX Labs have officially released version 1.0 of the DivX mobile player for Symbian. This new version is compatible with Symbian S60 v3 and v5. However, the software still has a beta tag to it.
