Dell has launched two new budget phones in the Indian market – the Dell XCD28 and XCD35. Both run Android 2.1 and are priced at Rs 10,990 and Rs 16,990 respectively.

Microsoft will be launching the Dell Venue Pro on November 8 at its retail stores. It will be available on Dell Online by November 15.

Dell is exchanging about 25000 employee Blackberrys with Dell Venue Pros, the company’s new Windows Phone 7 smartphone.

Folks over at PC World report that Dell is working on an Android version of the Dell Venue Pro handset. The Dell Venue Pro sports a full portrait QWERTY keyboard and a 4.1-inch WVGA display.

The 5-inch phone and tablet crossover from Dell – the Streak – was supposed to get its Android 2.2 update by the end of December. Today, Dell has officially stated that their target Android 2.2 delivery date is way before December 31st.

Dell might release a 7″ tablet in coming months. Michael Dell had flashed a 7″ tablet at the Oracle Conference this year.

The Dell Aero is now available on AT&T for $99 with a 2 year contract and $299 without a contract.

The guys at Engadget received two Dell Thunder prototypes. The Dell Thunder is an excellent Android device and should launch soon.

It was just yesterday we reported that the Dell Streak would be getting direct upgrade to Froyo, and skip the Éclair update totally. However, Streak owners in UK should rejoice as an Android 2.1 ROM for the phone leaked on the internet a few days ago.

A Dell employee has let out that Dell will directly update the Streak to Android 2.2 Froyo in the US

The Dell Thunder, an Android smartphone which was leaked months back has been caught on video. It has a 4.1 inch OLED display and comes with Android 2.1

The Dell Streak is expected to be launched in India by October 2010. It is a tablet-smartphone hybrid and comes with nice hardware specs and features. It will be priced at around Rs. 25000.
