Research In Motion (RIM) today launched the Berry Bold 9780 smartphone in India. It is also the first BlackBerry Bold smartphone which runs on the new BlackBerry 6 operating system.

Blackberry Bold 9780 is now available in India and is retailing for a price of Rs.26,900. Although there has been no official word from Blackberry regarding the availability of BB Bold 9780 in India, but a few advertisements for the device have been spotted in major Indian newspapers.
