Sony has announced that it won’t be upgrading its 2011 range of Xperia handsets to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

Sony Ericsson has enabled 720p HD video recording on the Xperia Play, with the Android 2.3.4 update. The update also brings many other goodies like swipe like text-input, ability to take screenshots, and enhanced Facebook inside Xperia.

Sony Ericsson has just announced its latest addition to the Xperia branded Android family, the Xperia Arc S. The handset is similar to the original Arc, except for a faster (1.4GHz) processor being the only difference.
