HTC One S Goes On Sale At T-Mobile For $199.99

Last week, T-Mobile announced the price and availablity of the powerful HTC One S smartphone. This handset was announced and showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona. It is the company’s first smartphone which runs on the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. T-Mobile finally released the device exclusively for its subscribers in the US. HTC One S features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, sporting a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS, HTC Sense 4.0, 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, full HD (1080p) video recording and playback, VGA front-facing camera and so on.

Panasonic Eluga Launched In The UK For £364.99

Panasonic recently launched the much-awaited Panasonic smartphone in the UK. It is the company’s first smartphone for the European market. The Panasonic Eluga was announced and showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona. This handset runs on the Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) Operating System. However, the device will get the Android 4.0 update in the coming months.

The Panasonic Eluga is already available for purchase in Germany from last week. We already posted that the handset was available for pre-order at Expansys, a popular online retailer in the UK. HTC One S Coming To T-Mobile On April 25 For $199.99

T-Mobile recently announced the price and availability of the HTC One S smartphone. This handset was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 along with the high-end HTC One X and mid-range HTC One V smartphone. We have good news for those, who were eagerly waiting for the launch of this handset in the US. The HTC One S will be exclusively available for the T-Mobile subscribers from next week. It is the company’s first smartphone which runs on the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System.

AT&T recently announced the price and availability of the powerful HTC One X smartphone. This handset was originally announced and showcased earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona. The HTC One X comes with a 4.7 inch Super LCD HD display as well as a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. It runs on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. This handset will be exclusively available for the AT&T subscribers in the US from next month.

HTC One X is AT&T’s first smartphone with Beats by Dr.Dre Audio built-in to the hardware and software. It is also the carrier’s first smartphone to launch with the latest version of the Android Operating System. Lava Releases World’s First Intel Medfield Powered Android Smartphone

Indian mobile manufacturer Lava has launched the world’s first Intel powered Android smartphone – XOLO X900. Lava XOLO X900, which was first spotted in this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), is powered by an Intel Atom (Medfield) processor. Lava claims that the 1.6 GHz Atom with Hyper Threading will offer an “an unbelievably responsive” experience.

As far as features are concerned, the XOLO has all the features a flagship deserves. Its 8 mega-pixel rear cam is capable of shooting 1080p videos and snapping up to ten images per second in burst mode, while the 1.3 MP front camera is good enough for video calling. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 3G, HSPA+, NFC, and Bluetooth. The handset measures in at 123 x 63 x 10.99 mm, and features a 4.03″ TFT LCD touchscreen (capacitive) with Gorilla Glass. A 400 MHz GPU is also present to take care of heavy duty graphics processing. The 1460 mAh battery is expected to offer 8 hours of talk time, and last 5 hours of 3G browsing. Sixteen gigs of internal strorage, and 1 GB of RAM is also included.

The X900 ships with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread); however, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is expected to become available soon as an OTA (over the air) upgrade. Lava has partnered with Chroma to promote and distribute the phone across India. The retail price is Rs. 22,000 ($422 approx.). Intel has reportedly signed up several manufacturers including Motorola, ZTE, and Orange for Medfield powered smartphones; however, Lenovo K800 is the only other handset that has been announced so far.
