Sharp Unveils The First Ice Cream Sandwich Phone – AQUOS 104SH

Sharp recently announced its latest smartphone – the Sharp AQUOS 104SH. It is officially the first device which runs on the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. You heard it right! Most of us were expecting that the Google Nexus Prime will be the first device with Android ICS, but unfortunately, it will be the second device running on the latest Android OS.

Some notable specs of this device includes the 4.5 inch HD touchscreen display, sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Sharp AQUOS 104SH is powered by the same 1.5 GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4460 dual-core processor, which has been used in the upcoming Google Nexus Prime smartphone. On the back of the device, you will find a 12.1 megapixel camera with full HD (1080) video recording capabilities. On the front-side, you will find a 3 megapixel camera for video calls.

The Sharp AQUOS 104SH will be exclusively available for the customers of the wireless carrier Softbank in Japan. The price and complete specs of this device has not been announced yet. This handset will release next year sometime around February-March. The specs of this device might get refreshed before the actual launch.
