Acer is back with the new mid-range Liquid E2 smartphone. It is the company’s first quad-core smartphone with dual SIM capabilities. This handset is the successor of the Acer Liquid E1 Android smartphone. This device packs a 4.5 inch display and 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. Acer Liquid E2 runs on the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) Operating System. This handset comes with dual-speaker system and DTS Sound for enhanced audio with volume maximization.
Acer Liquid E2 features a 4.5 inch touchscreen display, sporting a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT6589 quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS, Dual-SIM capabilities, Acer Breeze UI, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash, full HD (1080p) video recording and playback, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and so on.
Other features include a 3.5 mm headset jack, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, 4 GB internal memory, MicroSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, 1 GB RAM, Google Play Store, Accelerometer, up to 9 hours of talk-time, up to 450 hours of stand-by time and a 2000 mAh battery.
Acer Liquid E2 comes with a price-tag of €229 (approx. Rs.16,300). This handset will be available in rock black and classic white colors. Acer Liquid E2 will go on sale from mid-May in Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine and France, followed by Spain, UK, Italy, Germany and Russia.
