uses a unique client ID for each installation that could be used to easily identify users across computers, privacy advocates have raised lots of hue and cry over this, when Google Chrome had initially released.

However like all problems, this privacy issue can also be easily tackled with some mods to Google Chrome client IDs.

Google Chrome Anonymizer is a simple software utility that Anonymizes the client ID stored in Chromes config by replacing it with a generic ID. You can change the Google Chrome client ID to any randomly created generic ID keeping your privacy safe.
