Facebook Event creators rely on third-party apps to enable the “Buy Tickets” option, however, it now looks like Facebook is planning to integrate it as a full-fledged feature on the site. The new “Buy Tickets” button will redirect users to the event site where the actual transactions take place.
Blink Vice President of Media Eti Suruzon noticed the new button added to one of his events, and has shared the following the screenshot:
Facebook is currently testing the new “Buy Tickets” button and is available to a random set of events. If the test is successful enough, the button will be made available for event creators to promote and generate ticket sales for their respective events.
