Facebook Lite, a lighter version Facebook is designed specially for users with slow Internet connections and to access most relevant sections in Facebook. No doubt the lighter version loads pretty faster than the original version as there are few elements disabled in the lite version. Elements like, Highlights, the left sidebar navigation to access modules in Facebook, the What’s on your mindtext box, links to quickly connect with friends and the requests section.

What we had expected is what we have. Now that the testing is all done, Facebook Lite is available only to users in the USA and India.

Facebook wanted to give users a Twitter-like experience. Keeping this in mind, the designers have come out with   a brilliant piece of work. Now, the question is, will users experience the change? I think so, yes! What do you feel about the changes?
