A new Facebook scam is reportedly spreading like wildfire on Facebook. The scam relates to an incident that happened two months ago. A father, who took his daughter to watch a baseball game in LA, dropped his daughter off his hands while trying to catch a foul ball. However, it was reported that the girl was not injured.
Facebook scammers have taken advantage of this incident by creating a fake message that promises to show the video by completing a survey. The scam titled – “Dad Drops His Daughter to Try to Catch a Baseball on LIVE TV!” with a link and a description that states -”Warning: Mature Content! Ummm what was this guy thinking? We see where his priorities are!”

The scam message comes with different links and uses the same method as earlier Facebook scams and urges users to click on the link that directs them to a web page where they are asked to complete the survey in order to view the video.
Scammers usually create scams like this in order to drive traffic to their websites or to earn money. For every survey completed, the scammer earns money as commission. It is always advised that you avoid such scams messages that contains keywords/phrases that makes you curious.
