Tons of Twitter applications are created everyday and many of them are quite useless. However, once in a while you come across an application that is created for the sole purpose of letting people help each other. CommuTweet fits the bill perfectly.
As the name suggests, CommuTweet [1] is a Twitter application for commuters. People can tweet about their daily commutes including the road accidents and traffic problems they face on they way. All you need to do to participate is select your location and mode of transportation. After that, you will be able to send and receive tweets from other commuters.

CommuTweet covers many modes of transportation including Bus, Car, Rail, Ferry and Subway. Keywords such as Rdwork and Delay in the beginning of tweets save your time by making it easy to skim through the tweet. Over all, It is a great application and will become more and more useful as more people join in.
