Micro.Vois: A Twitter Market Place For Freelancers

Here’s a neat idea: since all the designers, developers and programmers spend most of their time on Twitter anyways, why not turn Twitter into a marketplace for buying and selling freelance services. The idea came to Vois, which is a popular social network for freelancers, and they implemented it in the form of Micro.Vois.com [1].
This is how it works: if you are a freelancer looking for work, you’ll send out a tweet and include the hashtag #wantwork. Similarly, if you are looking to hire a freelancer, you will include the hashtag #havework in your tweet. To check the listings, you can either search Twitter for these hashtags, or simply head over to Micro.Vois.com [1] to see the updated listings. If you see something you like, just reply to the user to get connected.

If used properly, Micro.Vois can turn into a pretty useful service since they are utilizing an already established platform.
