Google Browser Sync Lives On
Posted By Keith Dsouza On June 25, 2008 @ 4:26 pm In Sidenotes | 1 Comment
Sometime back we had told you how Google had decided to stop development and support [1] of the popular plugin Google Browser Sync, many bloggers and users alike were disappointed about the decision.
Google on the other hand had other plans for the plugin as they have decided to make Google Browser Sync releasing the source code of the plugin [2] on Google Code. Though that may sound good news to many we still have to worry about the server support that Google will stop providing at the end of the year, which may render the plugin useless with no server to store your data on.
We definitely hope to see a newer version of the plugin that is compatible with Firefox 3 [3] now that the source code can be edited by anyone.
