The moment of reckoning is here and there is no way you can be aloof. CERN is all set to make the grand announcement on the Higgs Boson search tomorrow, i.e. on the 13th of December, 2011. This is widely believed to be THE final announcement on the search, even though a negative result might prolong the search indefinitely. CERN will be live-streaming the Higgs Boson seminar, a joint one between the two LHC groups ATLAS and CMS on their webcast link. The link is provided below.
CERN’s Webcast Link: http://webcast.web.cern.ch/webcast/
The CERN public seminar is at 1400 hrs CET or 0800 hrs EST or 1300 hrs GMT or 1830 hrs IST.
Whether the Higgs boson, or the (inappropriately named) God particle, has been found at the LHC or not has been a closely guarded secret over the past few days (or months?). The moment of truth awaits the world tomorrow.

- Update on the Standard Model Higgs Searches in CMS
- Joint question session
We have had a long series of articles tracking every major step in the Higgs boson search. Here are a few of those.
