A new Facebook Scam is spreading on Facebook and has been spreading for the past few days. The scam is about a video and has the text “[Video] OMG This is what happened to his Ex Girlfriend!!!”. The scam also occurred earlier and has spread under several different messages.

Most people think that the social networking giant, Facebook, is a place to share photos and connect with people. Unfortunately, the network is also used to spread fake/scam messages that play with users’ belief, making them click on such scam messages.

The new scam titled –“[Video] Girl brutally pranked by 2 guys while UNCONSCIOUS!” with a description that states – “these guys took this prank to far! How could you do that to someone?” is reportedly spreading like wildfire.

Gold Safe is a game show that is aired on Indian television channels NDTV Imagine and Zee TV. The game show titled “Guess the Celebrity”, awards you cash prize if you guess the celebrity’s name right. The show follows a simple rule. Viewers are asked to identify the celebrity, who’s face is partially shown. If the viewer gives the answer correct, he/she is awarded cash prizes ranging from Rs. 20,000 to one lac.

A new scam, “Enable Dislike Button” is spreading on Facebook. When I logged in to Facebook today, a friend of mine posted on my wall stating, “I just enabled the new dislike button! Click ‘Enable’ to enable the feature! Dislike Button enabled by 464,350 users”. At once, I figured out that it is a scam and searched on Google to confirm it. Facebook does not have a “dislike” button and might not have as well, so don’t fall for this scam.
