We have noticed yet another scam spreading on the social networking giant Facebook and Twitter. The new Facebook scam is spreading in various versions. It also has an older version with the signature similar to the 99% People Can’t See This Video scam and the 98 Percent of People Can’t Watch This Video for More Than 15 Seconds.
The scam titled – “OMG Have You Watched This Embarrassing S3x Videos on Live TV” has been spreading with the message – “Secret Leaked H0T S3X Videos About His Beautiful Girlfriend” on Facebook and Twitter. Here’s a screen shot of it -
Clicking on the URL specified in the scam message will lead you to a page which designed to look exactly like a Facebook page (see screenshot above). As you can notice that the URL in the address bar is different and the page you have visited is a fake Facebook page. It is advised that you avoid clicking on any link on the page.
You are asked to install a Divx plugin to watch the video. Clicking on the install plugin will download an extension or plugin for your browser, which could sneak on your browsing habits, or steal personal and important information from your PC. It may also allow the scammer to get access to your financial details like bank account number, credit card information, and so on. So, take this very seriously and do not click on such links if you notice them on your Facebook wall.

We urge you to stay away from links which are enticing as they might contain viruses and also spread the malware among your friends.
