Boots £50 Voucher Giveaway | Free Boots Gift Card – Facebook Scam

A new message spreading on Facebook claims to giveaway £50 Boots voucher just for sharingthe message with your friends on the social network. Well, don’t get too excited about this because it is a scam. The scam has the title – “Boots £50 Voucher Giveaway” and has a description that reads – “As Christmas is approaching we are giving away 1250 vouchers to some lucky people, maybe you?”

This is a spam message that is spreading on Facebook, and do not share this with your friends. Clicking the scam will take you to a bogus page where you will notice a countdown running which represents the number of gift cards remaining. It’s just a countdown and nothing else. The Web site asks you to first share the message with your friends, and post a comment stating “Thanks Primark!”

After having done that, you will be redirected to an online survey site, where you are asked to complete a set of online surveys. However, there isn’t any gift card given even after completing the mentioned steps or online surveys. So, DO NOT waste your time on clicking scam links like this, or spam the social network by sharingthem with your friends.

It is recommended that you DO NOT click on such links or scam messages on Facebook. If you come across this scam message, please delete/remove the scam from your Facebook news feed immediately. Alternately, you can report the scam to  Facebook Security.
