Google Search vs Yahoo Search

I was reading an interesting article at Google Operating Sytem with regards to the profile of a search engine user.

Basically the article talks about the difference between Google Suggest and Yahoo LiveSearch results in the Firefox 2 version, well there is a whole lot of difference between types of suggestions both these search engine provides you with.

The results differ quite a lot ( well there is a drastic differnce) so when you are searching for python which is a programming language as well a snake, google suggests you with results related to the programming language and yahoo about the snake.

So are Google search users more technical savvy?

If you search for Nokia which is a cell phone Google shows you results for specific phones while Yahoo shows you general information.

So are google search users more specific with what they want?

Well all the search results showed that Google Search showed more specific information than Yahoo, well this is in accordance with why I use Google search to get specific results, what about you?

See the entire article on Profile of a Search Engine User at Google Operating System.

Play Safe, Don’t abuse or get abused with Adsense

Well that's a question we may start to ask, Why?

Google has a very strict policy with how their ads should be displayed and what things every advertiser should follow.

Though you may find tutorials abundant, teaching you to using different tactics to get more ad clicks and increase your income, but do you aspire to lose your income before you get anything in return.

The worst and by foremost deciding factor on getting yourself from blocked Google Adsense is false clicking or a more known term called fraud clicks where in either you or someone for you keeps on clicking on your ads to increase your revenue.

Mind you Google is not a fool, with the amount of algorithms they have for each search term, they have the algorithm to maintain and see which partner site is getting more clicks and how and what to determine what is legal and illegal.

This is the most important factor one should refrain from and be careful from that is self clicking of your own advertisments.

Access Yahoo Messenger Chat archives while offline

Many of us use Yahoo Messenger and chose to store their chat records on the computer using the archiving feature Yahoo Messenger provides us with.

Archiving with Instant Messengers is a very useful and helpful method of going through older chat logs, same with the Yahoo! Messenger archiving.

Though still there is a security related feature with Yahoo Messenger because of which you cannot access your chat archives unless you are logged in with that user, because Yahoo encrypts all your chat logs unlike MSN messenger which stores your chat logs as an XML file in your My Documents.

Unless your logged in would include, when your not connected to the internet or not able to connect to your Yahoo! Messenger or have logged in using a different user id to Yahoo Messenger.

There have had been times when I desperately wanted to access my chat archives to check on important information and I couldn't because of being offline.
