The new mobile interface is horrid by comparison, trying to do too much with too little and consuming far too much bandwidth for what it does. Instead of 15-20 seconds and 5 button presses with one hand to check to see if I have new mail, it takes over 2 minutes, both hands, and upwards of 50 button presses. The convenience factor is gone. I'll probably abandon it altogether and forward my email to google where I can use IMAP to pick up the mail.
