webOS 2.0 Coming to Palm Pre, Pre Plus, Pixi and Pixi Plus
By on November 20th, 2010

The Palm Pre 2 was launched a few weeks back in the US and the UK. Besides the upgraded hardware, the main reason why the Palm Pre 2 is an excellent smartphone option is because it sports the revamped new webOS 2.0. The successor to webOS is much faster and much more refined than version 1.0.

Today, we have some news that will bring a smile to the face of everyone who owns a Palm Pre, Pre Plus, Pixi and Pixi Plus. All these devices will be getting an upgrade to webOS 2.0.

Palm’s Josh Marinacci stated at the webOS Developer Day that HP / Palm intends to get webOS 2.0 on all existing webOS devices in the coming months. No specific upgrade timeline has been announced though.
