After Spice launched the MI300, India’s first Android phone, Micromax also announced that it was planning to launch a few Android powered handsets. It looks like Videocon has already beat Micromax to it. It has announced the new Videocon Zeus V7500 – a budget Android smartphone.

The specifications seem pretty good, now only if the Zeus gets an upgrade to Android 2.2 Froyo, it would be the perfect budget Android phone.

It is expected to be priced around the Rs. 10000 mark. It should be available by the end of 2010.
