Early this week, Pantech announced the new Pantech Breakout smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity. This handset will be exclusively available to the Verizon Wireless subscribers in the US. Pantech Breakout is the Verizon’s fifth 4G LTE handset, after the LG Revolution, HTC Thunderbolt, Samsung Droid Charge and Motorola Droid Bionic.
The Pantech Breakout features a 4 inch capacitive touch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, 1 GHz processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, virtual QWERTY keyboard with Swype, 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera, with HD (720p) video recording capabilities, VGA front-facing camera for still shots and video chatting, etc.
It also comes with a 3.5 mm headset jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE Connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0 support, 512 MB RAM, 390 MB internal memory, microSD cald slot, 32 GB expandable memory, 8 GB microSD bundled, Android Market, 4G LTE mobile hotspot, DLNA and a 1500mAh battery.
This handset allows you to connect with up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices, thanks to the 4G LTE mobile hotspot capability. This handset will be available from September 22 at Verizon Wireless Communication Stores or you can even purchase it online.
