Verizon finally announced the availability of its much-awaited smartphone, the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. This handset is the third Nexus branded phone from Google and the second Nexus phone manufactured by Samsung. Galaxy Nexus is the first smartphone, which runs on the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. Verizon Galaxy Nexus customers can access the 4G LTE network in 190 markets across the United States.
Verizon Galaxy Nexus features a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED display, sporting a resolution of 1280 Ã— 720 pixels, 1.2 GHz dual-core application processor, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System, 5 megapixel camera with zero-shutter lag, autofocus and LED flash, full HD (1080p) video recording and playback, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, etc.
Other features include a 3.5 mm headset jack, Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g/n, HTML5 Web browser, 4G LTE connectivity, Mobile Hotspot capability, Bluetooth 3.0, 1 GB RAM, 32 GB on-board memory, Face Unlock, Android Market and a 1850 mAh battery.
