Verizon Droid Incredible 2 Gets A Software Update
Verizon recently rolled out a new software update for its popular smartphone, the HTC Droid Incredible 2. This update is not similar to the one that HTC Incredible S received last week, but it brings some important improvements to the smartphone. The latest update comes with a Wi-Fi password security patch, local video playback in Airplane Mode, improvements to clock and alarm, etc. Check out the complete changelog, after the break.

- Includes Google BT/DigiNoTar security patch
- Includes Google security page for upgrading ibping to 1.2.46
- Includes Wifi password security patch
Device features:
- Support local video playback when in Airplane Mode
- 5 bar Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) support
- Improvements to clock and alarm features
- The “Disable while roaming” section will work accurately when roaming in Canada
- Update Sync & Connect configuration to enable Push e-mail sync during off-peak hours
