First a bar, now it is a gym! Gizmodo received a picture of the Motorola Shadow, which was found in a Verizon gym, in Washington. Before the device was remotely locked, the guy who found the phone managed to read a
text message on the device which said “unreleased”. The guy who found the phone, also managed to confirm a few things about the hardware specifications of the Shadow.
The still unannounced Motorola Shadow is powered by a Snapdragon processor. The screen size of the phone is 4.3 inch with WVGA resolution. The Shadow packs in 512MB of RAM, along with 16 GB of storage space. The phone has an 8MP camera, and will be able to record 720p HD videos. However, the guy who found the phone failed to confirm whether the Shadow features a slide out QWERTY keyboard or not. The phone is also expected to sport a mini-HDMI port. The guy could not also confirm which Android version the phone was running. We hope that the Shadow hits the retail market with the latest version of Android a.k.a Froyo.
The Motorola Shadow is expected to be the successor of the highly successful Motorola Droid. At the beginning stage, the phone will be launched exclusively under the Verizon network.
